LYONS HOLIDAY PARKS UPDATE

As you may already know, tomorrow marks 'Freedom Day' across Wales! Although Wales will move into 'Alert Level 0', which will see restrictions easing around social distancing, face masks, and hospitality, we just wanted to highlight that we're doing everything we can to keep our holiday parks safe, enjoyable, and stress-free locations.

To make things as clear as possible, we’ve outlined below exactly what the new rules will be from tomorrow onwards across all Lyons Holiday Parks in North Wales. (Warning: dancing is included - and so are face masks inside some public spaces!)

  • Table service is no longer essential, meaning customers can go up to the bar and order food & drink in all Lyons bars
  • Guests will no longer have to stay at their tables, meaning dancing will be back during evening entertainment!
  • Face masks will no longer be a legal requirement for guests in hospitality venues. However, for the safety of our team, owners and guests, we will be encouraging visitors to wear their face coverings indoors
  • Face coverings inside all other public spaces (including the shop and arcades) must be worn by guests and the team

A message from our holiday park to you

This weekend is set to be a great one, and we’re expecting a lot of hustle and bustle, just like the days gone by! We want you to have the most wonderful time, no matter which Lyons holiday park you’re staying at. In light of this, we just wanted to share a short and heartfelt message with you which will hopefully mean as many people as possible can enjoy our popular parks.

“We're here to remind you that although legal requirements have now been lifted, we urge you to keep others in mind at all times. This includes our wonderful team, who have been working hard all season to keep you all safe, within constantly changing guidelines and circumstances. This also applies to other guests and owners, who may or may not have different perspectives on the recent rule changes. We’re all here to have a good time – let’s work together and spread that positive atmosphere so we can continue enjoying the rest of the summer!’

LYONS HOLIDAY PARKS UPDATE

Hello to everyone! We're aware there has been some confusion in the national press this week regarding the date residents from England can travel to Wales.

We've been in touch with the regional tourism board to seek clarification on the matter and we are happy to confirm that residents from England will be entitled to travel here in just 6 days time!

Here's what Go North Wales have confirmed today:

"As long as conditions remain favourable this week, visitors will be able to travel into Wales and stay overnight from Monday 12th April. Overnight stays are only possible in self-contained accommodation and only those from *a single household (including those in a *support bubble)

LYONS MANOR HOUSE: From April 12th, our owners will be able to travel back to Manor House Park for holiday purposes, providing the group is from the same household. We will also be able to welcome holidaymakers back on the park in self-contained accommodation (hire fleet and tourers/ motorhomes with functioning water and waste systems) and providing they are from the same household.

*A single household is group of people living in the same home. A household can be one person living on their own, flatmates, or a family living in the same abode."

Thank you all for your patience and we truly cannot wait to see you soon!

NORTH WALES PARKS UPDATE

Happy Monday to all our owners and guests across the UK! Aren't things certainly looking up?

We are overjoyed to announce that as of Saturday, March 27th, we have been welcoming back to park our owners who live in Wales. We're so glad the Welsh Government's decision to allow self-contained holidays in Wales means many of you have the chance to escape those four walls that served you well during lockdown.

Your safety is paramount to us, so we kindly ask that all owners check-in at reception upon arrival and take heed of social distancing and face-covering guidelines. This way we can all stay safe and ensure the smooth running of the parks for a long and prosperous season.

Now that the travel restrictions across Wales have been lifted, our North Wales parks are waiting to be explored by you. Holiday bookings at our popular and coastal flagship park Lyons Robin Hood are now going ahead from today, as well as bookings at the beautiful countryside park in Ruthin, Lyons Woodlands Hall. Live in Wales and fancy an Easter break? Click here to book now!

We're also getting everything ready for our next big date, April 12th, which is when our owners and guests from England can holiday in self-contained accommodation again (fingers crossed!) From this date onwards, the rest of our North Wales parks and also Manor House Park in Cumbria will hopefully be welcoming back both holiday home owners and holiday guests who live in England. We are currently taking bookings from April 12th onwards, which will be covered by our Peace of Mind Guarantee.

We kindly ask you to frequently check the Welsh Government's website for an updated view on guidelines. For more information on lockdown restrictions in England, visit the UK Government website.

Thank you all for your patience and cooperation, and we can't wait to see you all again soon!

LYONS HOLIDAY PARKS UPDATE

Hello everyone!

In light of the First Minister’s announcement today, we thought we’d reach out to you with an update on where we stand. We’re so glad things are moving in the right direction, and are very encouraged by the gradual lifting of lockdown that has been announced today.

While Mark Drakeford (Welsh First Minister) made it clear the priority is schools and education, we’re encouraged by his decision to re-open non-essential shops on April 12th. He tried to give an indication of what will go on over the next 3 weeks: and this includes very good news for the tourism sector.

The ‘stay local’ lockdown is projected to be lifted on March 27th which will hopefully see self-contained holidays in Wales to go ahead after that date. We feel that this is very optimistic for holiday home owners in Wales – so let’s wait and see how events unfold in the next three weeks.

Mr Drakeford said he hopes tourism would be open to people from outside of Wales as soon as possible, if the Covid situation continues to improve. He said: "At Easter time, Welsh people will be able to travel for holidays over Easter within Wales, and to self-contained accommodation.”

As we look ahead to the end of April, the First Minister said he will be considering what more the government can do to support people to meet each other. Things like outdoor entertainment, weddings, and gyms will be revisited in the next review.

Mr Drakeford said: “Our approach will continue to be careful and cautious: we will take a phased approach to unlocking each sector. We will make step by step changes each week to gradually restore freedoms.”

For now, the ‘stay at home’ advice has been lifted, with a ‘stay local’ approach now encouraged. Mr Drakeford added that by the end of March, the Welsh Government plans on lifting this local lockdown and allow travel to holidays.

Conclusion: The good news is that things are moving forward: self-contained accommodation can go ahead in Wales from March 27th.

Those living in England should seek guidance from the UK Government’s own guidelines with regards to travelling. However, self-catering accommodation in England can reopen again on April 12th which applies to Lyons Manor House Park in Cumbria.

Neither the Welsh Government nor UK Government have given an indication as to when travelling abroad can go ahead. The next foreign travel review for England will be May 17th – but please be aware this is just a review, and not a ‘green light’ date for holidaying abroad.

LYONS HOLIDAY PARKS UPDATE

Hello everyone,

Times are certainly looking more positive, and there's finally some light at the end of the tunnel! Firstly may we thank you for your patience and understanding during these trying times. The parks have been very quiet, and we can't wait to welcome you all back very soon.

Following the Prime Minister's announcement last night (UK), and the First Minister's announcement last week (Wales), it's safe to say things are looking up and we now have some idea of when Lyons Holiday Parks will be open to the public again. We're following the news just as closely as you, and although an opening date has not yet been confirmed by the Welsh Government, we'd like to update you on where things currently stand:

When will owners be allowed to come to park?

We're extremely encouraged by Boris Johnson's (UK Government) announcement that self-contained holidays in the UK will be allowed from 12th April, and we are hopeful that Mark Drakeford (Welsh Government) will follow a similar course of action. In a press conference last week, Mr Drakeford has said that some hospitality accommodation in Wales could be open by Easter.

The First Minister was very cautious, warning that a lot can happen in six weeks, but said that the Welsh Government was looking at the possibility of some "limited" re-opening of self-contained accommodation only. This is considered safer as there are no 'shared facilities,' and will be the first step in re-opening the tourism sector in Wales. Mixing with other households, in this case, would not be permitted, but one household should be able to visit their holiday homes on our parks.

The next Welsh Government review is around March 12th, and will hopefully address guidelines relating to self-contained holidays.

When will I be able to book a holiday?

We are also very encouraged by the steady progress of both the UK and Welsh governments, and we are currently taking bookings for Easter onwards. Our Peace of Mind Guarantee is firmly in place to allow you to book and pencil in a getaway with Lyons - safe in the knowledge you won't lose a penny if the restrictions are still in place. More information on this guarantee can be found by clicking here.

We are currently working hard to ensure all parks are safely functioning, with the full measures in place to make your holiday as stress-free and risk-free as possible. We're rearing to go - but we're just waiting for an official thumbs-up before announcing a date! As soon as we know, we'll let you know via social media and on this coronavirus update page.

Why do Wales and England have different rules?

We've received a few enquiries along the lines of 'if the UK Government has confirmed an opening date, why hasn't Wales?'

We appreciate that many of our owners live in England, but ask you all to kindly bear in mind that Lyons Holiday Parks is subject to Welsh Government guidelines. The Welsh Government and UK Government have worked in synchronicity in the past, so we're hoping the easing of restrictions between both nations will be similarly laid out. So before packing up and travelling to our parks from England, we politely remind you to check the Welsh Government's guidelines - or check our website for a further update about North Wales.

Here's to a sunny spring and summer on the North Welsh coast, and soon, we'll be saying a big CROESO to you all!

NORTH WALES PARKS UPDATE

Hello to all our holiday home owners in England,

As I am sure you are aware, there have been a couple of announcements over the past few days regarding travel in and out of Wales.

We are now advising all owners to refer to the updated government guidelines under the "Visiting Places" section of the gov.wales Coronavirus FAQ's found here: https://gov.wales/coronavirus-regulations-guidance...

In short, the section indicates that owners from outside Wales who live in tier 1 and tier 2 are more than welcome to attend their vans to secure and collect belongings, as long as an appointment is made with the park prior to your travel to the site. You can make an appointment by ringing the sales office directly.
Those in tier 3 should check the government guidelines with regards to travelling from your area.
Please note than any travel is at your own discretion, and we advise that all owners follow the Covid-19 government guidelines at all times - especially taking note of the specific guidelines in place within the area you live. We also ask that owners check the Welsh Government and your own local government guidelines prior to travelling.
We will keep you updated of any changes which may happen following further government announcements over the Christmas period.
Thank you all for your patience and we wish you a Happy Christmas.

Only people from the same household can visit, and please remember it's table service only. The 'rule of six' (which allows six members of different households to come together) will apply outdoors.

We would like to thank you all for your patience and understanding over this anxious time, and we can't wait to welcome you back safely.

OWNER UPDATE – SITE FEES

Dear owner,

The last few weeks have been extremely difficult for many businesses across many sectors. Lyons Holiday parks have found themselves deeply in unfamiliar territory, trying to manage a situation that is ever-changing. During this time our primary focus has been the health, safety and well-being of all owners, holidaymakers and team members whilst following all guidance and instruction provided by UK and Welsh government.

On 23rd March 2020 we were instructed by UK government to close all sites. A very small number of extremely vulnerable owners and keyworkers have been able to remain with the permission of local authorities.

A number of team members have remained at work in order to ensure the security, maintenance, infrastructure and administration of our sites are maintained. This includes an emergency call centre which we have set up, in part, to ensure people could contact us with queries and to request their caravans were disconnected if required.

There are many costs which the company bears during the course of any given year, most of which are fixed or on contact term commitments and therefore cannot simply be cancelled due to the current circumstances. We have a number of revenue streams which contribute toward such costs, such as site fees and food and beverage income. As you are aware, any income from our bars and restaurants has now stopped following the UK government’s decision to close all such venues.

With regards to site fees, it must be stressed that this charge exists to part-cover a number of costs and services which are provided both at park level and head office. They are not based or dependant on usage.

Whilst it must be recognised that Lyons Holiday Parks are under no obligation to reimburse site fees, we would never treat our owners with such contempt. The company have operated for over 90 years as an independent family-owned business and part of this is down to your loyalty and commitment to us year on year. It is because of this the Lyons-Mound family have made it very clear their intention to give something back in order to ease the financial burden as much as practically possible.

We would therefore like to announce that a part-credit will be given to all owners (including seasonal tourers) who have been left unable to attend their holiday home during the lockdown period. This is subject to previous years fees being up to date and will be added to your owner account. It can be used towards current/future site fees and/or utility charges. The exact amount is currently being calculated and will be communicated at a later date.

Furthermore, we are committing to a group-wide site fee freeze for our 2021 season. Our intention is not to simply recoup the credit from our loyal owners, but instead to ease the financial burden as previously mentioned.

Finally we would like to remind all owners of our Direct Debit facility. We are happy to discuss any payment difficulties owners may be finding themselves in and can offer payment plans in exceptional circumstances to help you during this very difficult time. Please contact us on 01745 362020 for more information.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our owners for their patience, understanding and compassion. You are all valued members of the Lyons family and we very much look forward to seeing everyone as soon as government permissions allow.

In the meantime please stay safe, stay at home and save lives.

Wishing you all the best of health

GENERAL UPDATE: LOCKDOWN EXTENSION

Last night the government provided an update regarding the current lockdown. They have announced an extension of at least three weeks in order to further prevent the contraction and spread of COVID-19.

Holiday Bookings:
As a result of this announcement we can confirm that any holiday bookings which are due to commence on or before 8th May 2020 can now be deferred to a later date with no additional fees (up to the value of the existing booking). We will also be honouring full refunds between now and 8th May 2020 in the event a replacement date cannot be arranged. It goes without saying we’re all looking forward to taking a well-deserved break once the lockdown is lifted and holiday parks reopen and our friendly team are on hand to help you find the perfect dates.

We would request that guests wishing to delay or cancel bookings within this timeframe contact us on 01745 362020 or email us at enquires@lyonsholidayparks.co.uk.

Any holiday bookings due to commence after 8th May 2020 are subject to our normal booking policies.

Owners:
We would once again like to extend our thanks to our owners for their understanding during this difficult time. This is certainly not a position we expected to be in and we really miss you all!

All our sites are now closed as per government instructions.  This is a situation outside of our control and you will have noted is being taken as an extremely important step towards the control of COVID-19, a global pandemic. Those who have remained on site are either key workers or have been classed as extremely vulnerable by local authorities.

No person should now travel anywhere unless for essential reasons. We have been advised by Welsh and UK government that travelling to a second home is deemed non-essential. As a result we cannot allow anyone else onto site until further instructed.

We will be making a further announcement on site fees imminently and appreciate your patience at this time.

Updates will continue via our Facebook pages and our dedicated webpage, https://www.lyonsholidayparks.co.uk/coronavirus-update/. We would encourage everyone to keep themselves informed of any developments. If you would like to subscribe to our email updates, please contact our friendly team on 01745 362020.

We wish everyone well and hope to see you all back on site as soon as possible!

Until then, stay safe!

OWNER UPDATE – SITE FEES DURING COVID-19

We have received a number of questions via social media and our telephone call centre regarding site fee reductions and refunds.

At this time, the full financial impact of this situation cannot be assessed. There are a number of factors which need considering in order for us to make a fair assessment, including advice and guidance from UK government who directed us to close all parks.

Once we have collected enough relevant information from UK government to provide an informed response, we will of course update all owners. Until this time, we wish everyone the best of health during this difficult time and thank you for your continued support.

HOLIDAY MAKER UPDATE: MAY 2020 HOLIDAY BOOKINGS

We have received a number of queries regarding holidays due to commence in May. Please note we are currently awaiting an update from the government regarding an extension on the current lockdown they’ve imposed.

It would be premature this early into April to issue advice on the cancellation of May holidays without such information. We are hoping to provide a further update on Friday 17th April.

Any guests who wish to re-arrange their upcoming May holiday can do so with no additional fees, up to the value of their existing booking. Anyone wishing to cancel during this time can do so in line with our normal cancellation policy.

We would like to thank all guests we’ve spoken with to date for their patience and understanding. We look forward to seeing you all once we’re able to welcome you at our parks.

UPDATE - OWNERS

As you are all aware, recent government guidelines instructed all caravan parks to close in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. A small number of exceptions were made where people were unable to leave due to being extremely vulnerable or if they were a key worker. These exceptions have been allowed, and in most cases were requested by our local Councils.Anyone who has now left site must not return under any circumstances. This has been the very clear message given by the UK government.

In order for us to return to normal as soon as possible, we must follow the instructions given. Those who choose to disregard these instructions and travel unnecessarily will be refused access to site. Anyone refusing to leave will be reported for unnecessary travel. We are very much looking forward to reopening our sites when we are given permission to do so.Please stay safe, please stay at home.

Thank you.

GENERAL UPDATE - 24th March 2020

Today has been an extremely difficult day for many of our owners, guests and staff. Our instructions from the Welsh Government are that all caravan parks are closed until further notice. Further details can be found via the following link: https://gov.wales/full-guidance-staying-home-and-away-others.

Despite the huge challenges, we have been left overwhelmed by the response from our customers. The level of understanding has been nothing short of phenomenal.

Most owners and guests should have now returned home, and we would like to thank them again for their support. Any owners who are yet to travel back to their primary address should aim to make the journey first thing tomorrow.

In order to provide some peace of mind, please note the following answers to key questions we have been asked:

Q. Will my electric be left on whilst I’m away from site?
A. Yes, no services will be restricted during this time.

Q. Are security still working following the governments advice to stay at home on 23rd March?
A. Absolutely. We have been informed that our security team are essential workers, and can continue working as long as the social distancing guidelines are being followed. Please rest assured, they are actively patrolling all sites and CCTV to keep everywhere safe and secure.

Q. I’m a keyworker, can I stay on site?
A. We are more than happy to help all keyworkers who are helping us all stay safe during this pandemic. Any NHS staff and care home support workers are able to remain on site whilst they work in the area. We would be grateful if these incredible people could contact our friendly team on 01745 362020 so we may collect some information.

Lyons Holiday Parks would like to once again extend their thanks to everyone helping us adhere to government guidelines, and we cannot wait to welcome you all back on park at the earliest opportunity.

Please stay safe, please stay at home until otherwise instructed.

URGENT UPDATE - ALL OWNERS AND GUESTS

Following the Government’s announcement this evening, it follows that the country has been placed on lock down in order to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to comply with the Government’s directive, all owners and visitors must return immediately to their principal homes in order to prevent further spread of the virus.

No doubt, this is a decision the Government has not taken lightly; although we are sure you will all agree that we must all do our part to assist in the fight against this virus, even if this means leaving the Parks in the short term.

Please rest assured Lyons Holiday Parks will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis and as soon as it is deemed safe for owners and visitors to return, then Lyons Holiday Parks will issue a further statement in this respect.

In the meantime, Lyons Holiday Parks will issue weekly updates to keep you informed of the position.Any holidaymakers due to arrive at any park in the foreseeable future are advised to contact our customer service team on 01745 362020 or email enquiries@lyonsparks.co.uk. URGENT UPDATE – HOLIDAY MAKERS

We are aware that many people are becoming increasingly concerned with regards to their upcoming holidays given the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Lyons Holiday Parks are continuing to monitor advice given by the UK government and NHS in order to protect the health and wellbeing of everyone concerned. The company understand that many people still wish to spend time in holiday homes, whilst adhering to the ongoing guidelines
Following recent board discussions, we can confirm that all sites will be closing to holiday makers on Tuesday 24th March 2020 . Understandably some will be disappointed that we have chosen this course of action, however we are confident everyone is in agreement this is the right step to take in order to interrupt the spread of COVID-19 and decrease the burden on our local health authorities. We hope it will be a short term closure and that everyone can soon return to enjoying all of the facilities Lyons Holiday Parks have available.

At this time, the closure will run until 30th April 2020. This timeframe may be reduced if relevant advice permits and similarly may be extended should the situation remain.
For any guests due to join us for a holiday during this period, we are offering a deferment with no additional fees (up to the value of the existing booking). We know guests will be looking forward to a well-deserved break once the worst has passed! For any guest wishing to cancel their holiday booking, we can offer a full refund on any breaks due to begin between 24th March 2020 and 30th April 2020.

We would request that guests wishing to delay or cancel bookings within this timeframe contact us on 01745 342 264 or email us at enquires@lyonsholidayparks.co.uk.
Updates will continue via our Facebook pages and our dedicated webpage, https://www.lyonsholidayparks.co.uk/coronavirus-update/, and we would encourage everyone to keep themselves informed of any developments. CHILDREN AND SOCIAL DISTANCING

The sun is shining and the schools have broken up, but in the interest of all our owners, guests and staff, we would ask you to ensure that UK government guidance on social distancing is being followed by you and your children. Children do not understand the risks of playing closely, and therefore we are asking parents and guardians to help us keep the risk of contracting and/or spreading COVID-19 as low as possible by keeping them under constant supervision.

The health and well-being of our owners, guests and staff are of paramount importance to us, and therefore will cannot allow any guest to self-isolate if they are displaying symptoms of COVID-19. Any guests that may find it difficult to return home without using public transport or friends should consider vacating their caravan now whilst they are able to utilise such services.

If you believe anyone on site is currently self-isolating, we would ask you to report it to us by calling our friendly team on 01745 362020. Whilst we are following the current guidance on social distancing, we would also ask you to call the office with any day to day enquires rather than visiting in person. This includes gas bottle requests and fault reporting.

Please visit the following link to find out the latest on social distancing and other safeguards we are required to follow: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public

Please visit the NHS website for the most accurate information on symptoms, prevention and treatment: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/

We need to pay extra attention during this time in order to help each other enjoy their caravans in a safe and secure environment.

Please note: As you may expect, we are receiving a high volume of enquiries and appreciate your patience at this time.

Q&A

Q. Are your parks open?

A. Yes, at this time the parks are all open for the entire 2020 season in order to allow guests and owners a place to enjoy themselves during this unsettling time. All of our accommodation availability remains unchanged. Our accommodation options continue to operate as normal and our on-park shops will remain open for guests to use. Our parks are located in beautiful locations, from the sea front to the heart of the countryside; providing guests with the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air whilst they holiday with us. We also have some fantastic offers at the moment which can be found online at: www.lyonsholidayparks.co.uk or by calling 01745 362 020.

Q. What precautions are Lyons Holiday Parks taking during this time?

A. Here at Lyons Holiday Parks, we take the welfare of our holidaymakers, owners and staff very seriously. For our most up to date statement regarding our position please visit https://www.lyonsholidayparks.co.uk/coronavirus-update/

Q. Why are you open? Why not just close to be safe?

A. We are closely monitoring the situation on a daily basis. At this time we are satisfied that by following the UK government and NHS guidelines, we can continue to provide a safe environment for guests and owners wishing to find some enjoyment during these unsettling times. We have taken a number of steps to minimise the risk of anyone contracting and/or spreading the Coronavirus (COVID-19). You can follow our updates via our website as well as our Facebook pages.

Q. I want to book for later in the year, but what if I need to amend it?

A. If you want to book, please do so! We look forward to seeing all of this seasons guests enjoy our parks. We’ve even altered our booking terms and conditions until further notice to ensure there are no additional booking fees for any date changes required.

Q. Who do I contact about my existing booking?

A. If you have any concerns regarding your booking, please ring 01745 362 020 and our friendly team will be able to help put your mind at rest. We have also updated our cancellation policy until further notice in response to the current situation. Details can be found by visiting the following link: https://www.lyonsholidayparks.co.uk/coronavirus-update/

Q. Are all park facilities open?

A. Due to recent UK government advice and NHS guidelines, we have restricted certain facilities on our parks. This includes the closure of all restaurants & cafes, bars & show bars, arcades, swimming pools, gymnasiums and spas. This decision has been made in order to protect the health and welfare of our guests, owners and staff and follows advice on social distancing. You can find regular updates regarding the availability of our facilities via our Facebook pages, website and email (if you are subscribed). If you wish to subscribe to our emails, please call us on 01745 362 020 and we can add your details to our system.

Q. Can I self-isolate on park?

A. Unfortunately not. All of our parks are classed as holiday sites and are not residential. All owners are required to have a permanent residence as per our Pitch Licence Agreement. If you or any family member staying on site are displaying symptoms, you are required to return home in order to self-isolate as per the current guidelines. We must insist that any guests and/or owners refrain from visiting any parks for the relevant period of time should they present any symptoms or if they have recently returned from any affected area abroad.

Q. What if I develop symptoms and cannot return home due to lack of transport?

A. Whilst we appreciate there are many factors which may cause difficulty to some of our guests and owners, we must ensure the safety of everyone at our parks. If you are having trouble making your way home, we would ask you to contact our friendly team on 01745 362020. We will do all we can to assist you in finding suitable travel arrangements back to a suitable self-isolation location.

Q. If you won’t allow me on site whilst I self-isolate, can I receive a refund on my site-fees?

A. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing to self-isolate, we recommend you speak with your home insurance provider or, if appropriate, your travel insurer. Lyons Holiday Parks are unfortunately unable to reimburse any site fees due to illness. The primary reason for this is that your site fees are paid in return for Lyons Holiday Parks providing a service. Regrettably, if an owner cannot enjoy the service due, for example, to that owner displaying COVID-19 symptoms, it follows that Lyons Holiday Parks will still need to provide the service to the other owners or visitors to the Parks.

Q. What if I’m over 70 and need to self-isolate as a precaution only?

A. We require any guest or owner, regardless of age or reason, to vacate their van and site in order to self-isolate. There are no exceptions to this unfortunately.

If you have any further questions, please call us on 01745 362020 or email enquiries@lyonsholidayparks.co.uk.

Please note: As you may expect, we are receiving a high volume of enquiries and appreciate your patience at this time.

SWIMMING POOLS CLOSURE

Lyons Holiday Parks Limited have regrettably had to take the decision to close the swimming pools on its Parks. This decision has not been taken lightly; however, it is a necessary step that has had to be taken in order to promote the Government’s guidance to reduce all unnecessary gatherings in an attempt to stem the flow of COVID-19.

Please rest assured Lyons Holiday Parks Limited will continue to monitor the situation so that the swimming pools can be re-opened at the earliest opportunity.

Lyons Holiday Parks Limited thanks you for your co-operation and understanding at this very difficult time.

SELF ISOLATION

Lyons Holiday Parks Limited will not allow owners or visitors to the Park to remain in a caravan as part of any form of self-isolation.

Please note any form of self-isolation must take place in the owners or visitors’ own homes.

The Park is meant for owners and visitors to use for holiday purposes. It is not fair to other owners or visitors if people selfishly try to self-isolate in a caravan.

The Park needs to be an area where owners and visitors can come to hopefully escape COVID-19 rather than be exposed to even greater prospects of contracting the virus.

This request must be complied with; there will be no exceptions.

Please note that any attempt to self-isolate in a caravan will be taken by Lyons Holiday Parks Limited as a breach of your pitch licence agreement.

For any further guidance on self-isolation please see the advice as provided by the Government by accessing the following link;
