Prestatyn is one of the most sought after holiday resorts in North Wales. With 5 miles of crisp golden sands with a stunning backdrop of the rolling Gronant sand dunes. It’s a place that’s popular, but a place where you can always find peace and tranquillity.
Many of our customers come here and say it feels like home. When they walk along the sand dunes on a summer evening watching the sunset, when they’re watching the kids playing in the sea, or when they’re drinking an ice cold cocktail at the beach side bar. Prestatyn is the perfect escape, and a perfect holiday home from home for you and your family. Great for the Lyon Cubs
One of Prestatyn’s biggest pull factors is that it’s great for kids. The beach is huge and stretches for five miles and there are multiple amenities that are practically beachside. Arcades, adventure playgrounds, a swimming pool, crazy golf as well as eateries such as the Ice Cream Factory, Beach Hut, Play Cafe, Bar Nova, and there are always ice cream vans dotted along the coast too.
There’s also plenty for the kids outside Prestatyn too. Neighbouring Rhyl has a multitude of activities for the kids to get up to including Zip World Rhyl, Geronimos Adventure Playground and more. But if you’re looking for something more nature based, East of Preatatyn is Talacre where you can ride a horse on beach with the Bridlewood riding centre or have a look for the super rare Natterjack Toad and Sand Lizards in the sand dunes.

Prestatyn is also a great place for adults too. Prestatyn Retail Park is great for some retail therapy and there are coffee shops, bars and restaurants in abundance here. The new Beach Hut serves drinks and cocktails overlooking the beach, and there are further pubs, bars and restaurants in land too the town centre too. Patagonia Welsh Roots is a very popular steak house and Suhail Tandoori is just a short walk from the beach.
The Nova which is adjacent to the beach has a swimming pool inside which you can use free of charge as an owner and they also have a luxurious gym inside. As an owner at Lido Beach, you’re also entitled to visit our Flagship Robin Hood facility which has a gym and swimming pool too. If you’re an active holiday maker, the Offa’s Dyke is a famous walking destination here that goes through the Clwyidian Range as well as a beautiful Golf Course too.

It’s close proximity to the Eryri Mountain range make it an obvious choice for hikers, but the inspirational town of Barmouth has featured in famous novels and poems which also brings a lot of tourists to the area.
Prestatyn is in the North East of Wales, and being so close to the border means it’s not too far away for those from the North of England and the Midlands, making it a really convenient place to visit during summer holidays and for a long bank holiday weekend. The amount of tourists Prestatyn attracts means there is always something on in and around the town during the peak seasons. There is Crazy Golf, Swimming Pools, Adventure Playgrounds that are just a stones throw from the beach. Then there are restaurant/bars that overlook the famous Blue Flag Beach. Seaquarium, SC2 (Sun Centre), The Pavilion Theatre, Marine Lake are all just down the road in Rhyl, and ofcourse our flagship resort Robin Hood is here too.
