Action-packed fun for the whole family...

Proudly sat on the beautiful North Wales coast, on the outskirts of Prestatyn, Lyons Robin Hood offers something for everyone wanting to enjoy the delights of a traditional seaside holiday.

There’s plenty to keep all age groups entertained at Lyons Robin Hood... it’s FUN FUN FUN from the moment you arrive! With the seashore just a few minutes away and a fun-packed entertainment programme day and night, your holiday will be one to remember from the moment you arrive!

Every day new activities and games, from talent contests for those budding super stars in the family, for the more active ones, we have outdoor adventure play areas with climbing frames and basketball courts, as well as an indoor soft play area for the little people. You could visit the Splash Zone with three indoor pools, water jet characters, or those of us that like to take things at a slower pace, we have the jacuzzi where you can sit and be massaged by the gentle water jets.

If you're not such a water baby you can still enjoy watching the rest of your family with a refreshing drink at Hetty's Poolside Bar. For the up and coming 'Tiger Woods' in the family there is an 18-hole golf course sitting between the park and the Blue Flag Beach. After all that activity there's bound to be some hungry tummies to fill and the Sports Bar and Restaurant is the perfect place to re-energise yourself ready for the evenings entertainment!

5 star ratingBrilliant We hired a private van so we can’t speak for theirs but the facilities was brilliant . Lovely swimming pool that is great for kids . No slides but lovely pool and good sized kids pool. Kids can go unattended if they are aged 8 or over and can swim so many meters . Evening entertainment good. Can get busy so you need to be early to get a good seat. They had a party on the grass when we was there last week with free inflatables such as slides and a gladiator duel plus entertainment, it was great. The crazy golf on site is brilliant . The kids loved the park. So much to do around like the beach and shops etc. Would definitely go again. More

5 star ratingFantastic I’ve come here before and would definitely recommend. Only down side was the very muddy wet weather that can’t be helped. Enjoyed our stay. I needed some help taking rubbish to the blue bins a lovely man came along I think he may have been the head cleaner and helped dispose of my rubbish and couldn’t of been more helpful service with a smile! Will return

5 star ratingOne of my favourite places to stay as a child Have never had a horrific caravan here to be fair, they've always been average to nice. I have always really enjoyed the entertainment and the facilities are fine and up to standard also. Clean swimming baths and there used to be a big arcade. They also do this campsite up and keep it up to standards.

3 star ratingwont go again we recently went to the robin hood camp in rhyl, the caravan we stayed in was a very basic one but clean and tidy, there were a few kitchen utensils missing which we ended up having to buy. Whilst on the camp the pub kitchens were not serving any food due to a gas problem, this also meant the laundrette wasnt fully operational and as i had only taken so many clothes with the intention of washing them in the laundrette this proved to be a problem, we had to go out to another lyons camp to use thier laundrette, the crazy golf wasnt open, the bouncy castle was never up, the kids club always locked, the evening entertainment was always in the pub not in the club we were never given any information on anything, the chip shop was always shut and the supermarket was never open past 5 o clock. All these things were slightly annoying as we ended up going out for food and cooking it every night which wasnt our intention. But lo and behold on our last day there the kitchens and laundrette were fixed the chip shop opened and the supermarket was still open in the evening! i realise we went at the begining of the season but things should have been open and operational we were told the kitchens had been off for 2 weeks prior to our break! on the plus side... we recently went to the robin hood camp in rhyl, the caravan we stayed in was a very basic one but clean and tidy, there were a few kitchen utensils missing which we ended up having to buy. But apart from all that we didnt let it dampen our spirits and we made do. One more thing was the amount of cigarette butts outside the pub area was disgusting looked like they were not cleared away for weeks. More

3 star ratingUps and downs On the whole we have enjoyed our stay, the chalet is no frills, clean and comfortable and spacious. The resort complex tired and dated but all good. The evening entertainment for the kids is as expected and my child enjoyed it. I did not appreciate the bag search procedure, I felt very uncomfortable and never had my bag checked so in-depth before, it felt more like airport security!! Meanwhile those who knew better than to carry bags (and probably use their pockets instead) got to push past those who have politely queued to get in. If it’s to ensure the safety of everyone, then everyone should be checked and not just their bag. I can only assume it’ is infact just for food and drinks check. I can understand this is done to protect your interest but this was our holiday and it could have been done with a little polite banter rather than “sign there”! And why rummage through our bags so in-depth? I can’t imagine that I would want to come back to this resort for that reason. More

5 star ratingGreat holiday ! I visited the part with my husband, little girl and my son . It was the perfect holiday for the family ! Fun activities for the kids all night and the facilities were perfect. The nets team were absolutely fantastic and couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant set of young people. During our stay a young girl Gemma really shone through and made sure everything was perfect for us, she was a real asset to the team. 100% would recommend to other families and we will defiantly be visiting again.

5 star ratingGreat park. We stayed here for a weekend break (fri-mon). Great holiday park. The park is spotlessly clean. We stayed late March and did'nt expect much in the way of entertainment but we were pleasantly surprised. Great kids entertainers and artistes. Well managed park and a great all rounder.

5 star ratingGreat holiday, great price. Stayed here the weekend just gone and absolutely loved it. Was a bit apprehensive due to the reviews but as the price was amazing and it was a short notice weekend away we figured we’d risk it and I’m so glad we did!! Pool and lifeguards are fab, 2 decent sized pools, hot tub and a fab cosy seating area. Didn’t have chance to use the gym but will make sure we do next time! Arcade was great as were all of the staff in there and the prize shop wasn’t ridiculous like most places. Mini golf, a nice little park, sports court, small soft play, several bars.. So much to do on site and such good value for money! On arrival front of house staff saw we had a small baby so gave us another heater from their office as they were worried we’d be cold, absolutely lovely of them. We were very toasty in our Chalet! We are a family of 4 and had plenty of space, with very comfy beds too!

Only suggestions I have is maybe a bit of coffee and milk for on arrival would of been a treat and opening times for the pool and other facilities in the welcome pack.

Can’t fault any of the staff or the park, we’re already discussing dates on when to come back!

Thank you 🙂

3 star ratingLOCKED IN NO SECURITY TO BE FOUND Wanted to leave at 6.30 am , 22/3/19 unable to get out of park , no security to be found anywhere spent a good hour running about trying to find someone to let me out , i felt i was being played for a fool by security after banging heavy on their door , to get attention. Cheap Sun Holiday got a Chalet which was very spacious , a real credit to the cleaners , a few minor faults , but not worth a complaint .Nice staff in shop and reception .Take a loo roll none provided .

1 star ratingAvoid like the plague Worst sun holiday we have had. Arived early and was spoken too like i was retarded by reception telling me its too early to check in. Was told to go wait round rhyl for a hour or 2. Wasnt very pleased as baby needed changing and it was rather wet outside. From there we had thought we got a caravan as our booking stated 8 birth bronze RA36. Infact we were dumped in a grotty shalet the only form of heat was a gas fire. Not very 1 year old friendly. The loft hatch was left open paint falling off the walls, stained furniture and lots of dust. To top things off there was no hot water. After asking 3 times that day for the water to be fixed and no responce i once again had to visit the rude reception team who stated all sun holiday people get put in the shalets and we try to upgrade everyone. Anyway could not spend my holiday in what felt like a slumb so i was charged an extra £50 to upgrade to a caravan that we first thought we were getting. No entertainment on a Sunday.. carvery was minging too. Its fair to say we shall never return. More

1 star ratingWhat he hell has happened to this place.. AVOID AVOID AVOID On arrival the place looked amazing, like a proper family holiday.. but that's where it all ended!!!! Entered reception to find the 2 ladies swearing and cursing about the customer that just walked out.... they was really nice to me but found it strange they'd speak about customers the way they was. Finally got our key to our so called "gold caravan" HAHA walking in, we could see they hadn't been cleaned (we put it down to them being quick cleaned for the next people) kids want to check their rooms. Our youngest came out the bedroom with a used razor.... List of stuff i could see.... Cooker still had last year's food all over it..... no excuses, cookers can be cleaned Fridge had black mole inside. (We decided to eat out) Carpets and sofa was filthy and damp Bedding was terrible. Orange wee stained. Walls had food and drink stains same with the doors. And the final straw was the shower... I wouldn't even shower fully clothed in there. I seen a (so called cleaner) and asked if these could be sorted, her words was "I'm sorry but I'm flat out, if you pop into reception they will be able to help" So I went into reception to be greeted by the 2 laughing hyenas.. I expressed my concerns and was told managment would be down to speak to me... well I was approached by throat stuck up pair...
