Welcome

Action-packed fun for the whole family...

Proudly sat on the beautiful North Wales coast, on the outskirts of Prestatyn, Lyons Robin Hood offers something for everyone wanting to enjoy the delights of a traditional seaside holiday.

There’s plenty to keep all age groups entertained at Lyons Robin Hood... it’s FUN FUN FUN from the moment you arrive! With the seashore just a few minutes away and a fun-packed entertainment programme day and night, your holiday will be one to remember from the moment you arrive!

Every day new activities and games, from talent contests for those budding super stars in the family, for the more active ones, we have outdoor adventure play areas with climbing frames and basketball courts, as well as an indoor soft play area for the little people. You could visit the Splash Zone with three indoor pools, water jet characters, or those of us that like to take things at a slower pace, we have the jacuzzi where you can sit and be massaged by the gentle water jets.

If you're not such a water baby you can still enjoy watching the rest of your family with a refreshing drink at Hetty's Poolside Bar. For the up and coming 'Tiger Woods' in the family there is an 18-hole golf course sitting between the park and the Blue Flag Beach. After all that activity there's bound to be some hungry tummies to fill and the Sports Bar and Restaurant is the perfect place to re-energise yourself ready for the evenings entertainment!

5 star ratingBrilliant We hired a private van so we can’t speak for theirs but the facilities was brilliant . Lovely swimming pool that is great for kids . No slides but lovely pool and good sized kids pool. Kids can go unattended if they are aged 8 or over and can swim so many meters . Evening entertainment good. Can get busy so you need to be early to get a good seat. They had a party on the grass when we was there last week with free inflatables such as slides and a gladiator duel plus entertainment, it was great. The crazy golf on site is brilliant . The kids loved the park. So much to do around like the beach and shops etc. Would definitely go again. More

5 star ratingFantastic I’ve come here before and would definitely recommend. Only down side was the very muddy wet weather that can’t be helped. Enjoyed our stay. I needed some help taking rubbish to the blue bins a lovely man came along I think he may have been the head cleaner and helped dispose of my rubbish and couldn’t of been more helpful service with a smile! Will return

5 star ratingOne of my favourite places to stay as a child Have never had a horrific caravan here to be fair, they've always been average to nice. I have always really enjoyed the entertainment and the facilities are fine and up to standard also. Clean swimming baths and there used to be a big arcade. They also do this campsite up and keep it up to standards.

1 star ratingWhat he hell has happened to this place.. AVOID AVOID AVOID On arrival the place looked amazing, like a proper family holiday.. but that's where it all ended!!!! Entered reception to find the 2 ladies swearing and cursing about the customer that just walked out.... they was really nice to me but found it strange they'd speak about customers the way they was. Finally got our key to our so called "gold caravan" HAHA walking in, we could see they hadn't been cleaned (we put it down to them being quick cleaned for the next people) kids want to check their rooms. Our youngest came out the bedroom with a used razor.... List of stuff i could see.... Cooker still had last year's food all over it..... no excuses, cookers can be cleaned Fridge had black mole inside. (We decided to eat out) Carpets and sofa was filthy and damp Bedding was terrible. Orange wee stained. Walls had food and drink stains same with the doors. And the final straw was the shower... I wouldn't even shower fully clothed in there. I seen a (so called cleaner) and asked if these could be sorted, her words was "I'm sorry but I'm flat out, if you pop into reception they will be able to help" So I went into reception to be greeted by the 2 laughing hyenas.. I expressed my concerns and was told managment would be down to speak to me... well I was approached by throat stuck up pair... Telling me it couldn't be true as the caravan we was in bed been cleaned and not used by anybody this year.. after an hour or so if looking around the caravan,I was offered a free mini break as an apology.... NO THANKS TRISHA Shove it where the sun dont shine More

1 star ratingThe worse of the worse It wont let me select a date as I havent been back there for 2 years now I just wanted to tell you it is pointless contacting customer service as they email you back to just tell you you are wrong we booked a gold caravan and was stuck outside a storage chalet a van pulled up every morning music blaring a bug husky dog off the lead and we looked at laundry sheets and the cages that housed them all week. When I complained I was told no this didn't happen and they dont come in site at 730 in the morning....no I imagined it all total waste of 800.00 steer as clear as u can only thing they focus on is selling u caravans and if you read the reviews on those most were ripped off ....go golden sands instead where they break their backs to ensure you have an amazing stay More

1 star ratingWorse Holiday company in United Kingdom Avoid this company like the plague, awful company, cancel holiday because they double booked it and never sent refund like they said they would. This park cannot be trusted, is on sun bookings advertising pay only dates and then they try charging people extras.

1 star ratingNot to be trusted All the staff at the site was lovely all weekend apart from the ones driving around in vans on departure. No deposit to be returned after saying the caravans needed further cleaning when i confronted them with pictures to prove ours was fine and no damages whatsoever. Caravan was fine except the oven/cooker was purely there as decoration.

Just liars really trying to con people out of money. I get it times are hard but really?

3 star ratingSecurity & accomodation We went as a big group and had a few caravans between us the bar staff and reception staff were great but the security that drove around in the black truck were absolutely vile. Entering people's accomodation without invite pouring water on people's faces to wake them up and to call them all a bunch of f**king junkies they were forgetting we were paying guests paying £600 per caravan for a weekend. The accomodation was cold with broken fires which resulted in us having to heat the place up with hairdryers and leaving the gas hob and oven on would have been nice to have a working fire or heater.

Apart from that caravan RA32 was the highlight of the weekend and would happily return to that happy place.

The end.

1 star ratingBouncers Security team have a sense of humor like a wet fish. I’m aware they haven’t really accomplished much in their life when they have to resort in being a “bouncer” at a holiday park, but, Jesus, tell them to lighten up, especially the only female bouncer, attitude stinks. More security measures to get into a working men’s club then there is to get into the country.

4 star ratingGreat family break I used to visit this holiday camp when I was a child and more recently as a family. We stayed here on a Monday to Friday break and the caravan we was allocated was one of the best vans we have stayed in. It was lovely and modern, cosy and clean.

The camp has a lot of activities for the kids, with a park, crazy golf and swimming baths. The baths are clean and a good size, it would however benefit from a few slides for the kids.

There is entertainment for the kids and adults in the Foresters Bar. We enjoyed the wrestling and the kids enjoyed the evening discos. You do have to que at night in the arcade to get into the Bar which doesn't ever open at the time advertised! The Foresters bar looks as though it has had a revamp with new carpet, table and chairs. However the toilets in this bar and the adult bar are awful, they really need renovating doesn't look like they have been changed in years.

The camp is a good spot for travelling into Conwy and Llandudno. We had a day trip to the Welsh Mountain Zoo which was a great day out. It is also a 5 minute walk to Rhyl beach which my son loved looking for crabs and shells on.

All in all, we had a great family week away. A few areas for improvements but it wouldn't put me off returning.
