2 star ratingCamp site ok but staff in arcade a joke Me and my family only go on holiday for a week out of the year. Always on the last night of the holiday we take our two boys to the arcades and spend all the rest of our money on them. When we went in there was just us and another couple so it was quiet just the way we like it. My eldest son was playing on a terminater game with his uncle so i wanted to take a photo of the moment as my son is very close to his uncle. So i took a photo within 15 seconds of taking the photo a jumped up young worker tapped me on my shoulder and asked me to not take photos of other peoples children. I was absolutley gobsmacked as the only pictures on my camera were of my two children and my family.I said this to him and he was so rude to me i started to get upset i tried to show him my camera with the picture i took but he did not want to see it and kept turning away being abusive to me still accusing me. It still upsets me to this day, when i look at the photo i cry as i know im not like that i just love taking photos of my family as its once a year we all go together. i did nothing wrong as it does not say no pictures to be taken in the arcade on any of there windows and its just common sense not to take any of other people or their children. I made a formal complaint but didnt get much luck with that either i was treated so bad by them i will never give them my money ever again, so next time you go and take a photo just be careful you might get accused of something you have not done.

1 star ratingTERRIBLE FEW DAYS I had booked a 4 night break with the Sun newspaper, I paid an extra £32 for extras. Still a cheap break but I only stayed for 2 nights. The van was old (no central heating or double glazing) cold and noisy (between about 5.00 am and midnight) because of the main line railway station situated right by the site. The van had numerous problems with it, 1 - both toilet seats were loose. 2 - the mixer tap in the kitchen area was very loose. 3 - the bedside tables had been removed in the main bedroom. 4 - A lot of basic utensils were missing, I had to cut veg and fruit with a bread knife. THE OLD FASHIONED TYPE TIN OPENER WAS VERY RUSTY - A HEALTH HAZARD. 5 - There were 2 doors with steps, only one handrail, the door in the lounge area was wider than the steps which was a safety issue. 6 - The lounge area seating was filthy with dubious stains on the seats. I love caravanning but will never stay here again.

4 star ratingPerfect little break Visited with our sun holidays voucher. Easy to book. Polite and welcoming reception staff who gave me keys and explained everything I needed to know. Paid extra to take our dog which seems wrong to pay but I can imagine irresponsible owners cause damage.

Caravan very clean, if we Have a negative it would be that there were no lamps just the main light. However this is not really much to moan at!

Caravan site was clean, quite quiet, chippy was lovely, amusements staff were brilliant and helpful. Market on the Saturday which nan loved.

Not too far from the beach via a path alongside a caravan site, lots of dog mess and rubbish! Awful. Beach was lovely (No dogs allowed) we chances it but you could get fined.

Nice weekend overall,

5 star ratingWinkys amusement I don’t leave reviews ever but I went in winkys amusement today and had to leave a comment about Gavin!

He was so accommodating coming round to the machines every time we had a prize that got stuck or my son jammed too many 2ps in the machine. There were quite a few people keeping him busy but he just smiled the whole way round!

What really made the difference was how super friendly he was.

My son has additional needs and we often find that people can be rude or get annoyed with him but no, not Gavin he was awesome! So friendly and helpful! We will definitely be visiting again and we hope Gavin will be working the same day so we get the same awesome service!

4 star rating4 year old grandson loved it Big shout out to Charlotte and Kat even though it was out of season and Towyn was a bit of a ghost town Monday to Friday our grandson was entertained every night, winning prizes, dancing, playing games, using the pool playing in the on site park and arcade.

The caravan was clean and spacious and as the original caravan was out of use Grace gave us another one with the same facilities and a free weekend..

We enjoyed this holiday but had good weather it may have been a different story if the weather had been bad although good or bad weather the entertainment would not have altered famines from other sites are welcome in the club.

Thank you girls see you next year xx More

4 star ratingMAY BANK HOILIDAY 4.5.2018 we booked a silver grade caravan for the week end, arrived late Friday night , not a problem as the nice reception lady said she would leave the keys with security ,who are on site all night from 6pm. good enough he was there very helpful guy and told us were the caravan would be. settled in nice caravan was modern central heated which was great as it was a little chilly in the bed rooms late on in the night. it was clean and the beds were made up for us on arrival. the only down side was the TV was to small for the size of caravan I would say 19inch screen, so a bit small. the shower was superb ,oven great size and a brilliant fridge freezer could not fault it . now the bad points, sorry for this but I have to give an honest review and please use this as it is a positive feed back for the park management to look at.1 the doors all creek when you open them, so a bit of WD 40 spray oil on them as if you went to the loo at night you could hear the person coming out of the room if you were sleeping, 2,door plastic strip on the second toilet side wall leading into the toilet coming off again a bit of trimming at the bottom so it fits flush,3 towel holders in both bathrooms coming off the wall again new screws would fix this,4 main bed room door would not close as the plastic casing stopped it so door not closing needs trimming so the door closes, 5 last but not least the radiator in the second kids bedroom I could not get it to turn up so may need to look at that, 6 the window blinds were filthy in the kitchen, and the toilets house keeping issue. now a positive feedback for the park security, on are last night we were in bed around 2,oclock in the morning we heard a load of shouting near the van and all hell broke out a family had a big barney kids were screaming we heard a woman screaming and things getting thrown and smashed up we had to call the on site security and good enough they came asap , followed by police, the police removed some of the people inside which left just two in the caravan this is now 4,oclock in the morning , once the security left within a couple of minutes she kicked off again shouting she was screaming at her daughter it was all her fault for what went on anyway again the security were down straight away to tell here to be quiet so she did in the end. we did not sleep till 5am .could I just say I work in security myself so know it can be difficult the guys dealt with the situation great so pat on the back for you all mate. only one thing and that is if you attend a disturbance please be mindful of the other people in vans as we could hear the guys all laughing and joking very loudly and it was 4am.we went to the pool, Sunday morning and unfortunately the Mens changing room was filthy, floor was filthy, Toilet paper thrown all over the walls stuck to them ,toilet cubical was full of sick & toilet roll stuffed down it so it was blocked , the lockers half were not working and there was nothing to walk on the floor, mats, health & safety requirement, I did speak one of the staff about this she said the attendant would be along to look at it. I had to mention this to the young attendant he had not been told about this and when he seen it he was disgusted so he tried his best to make right. would I go back yes I would if all the points I have made were addressed it was well kept and most of the staff I talked to were nice we did not have time to tell management as we had to leave the van for 10 am and were so Tired from the night before because of the disturbance we just wanted to get home before the traffic.

5 star ratingFab weekend at winkups We come several times a year for weekends my grandchildren and Foster children love it here, its in the centre of Towyn right facing the fair and market, the club is great, staff are lovely, short walk to the beach and the kids have endless fun, we come around 6 weekends a year, and out of the many times a year and all the years we have been coming only ever had 1 issue with a caravan and was given a free weekend of our choice, we can't fault it.

5 star ratingFab weekend Arrived to a friendly reception. Never stayed in a bronze caravan so was a bit apprehensive, always had silver or the gold. The caravan was at the front just behind the shop it was lovely, clean comfortable, the beds all made up. Went to the new fully refurbished club that night. Although out of season the staff were chatty and we enjoyed the night. The children’s entertainer did well with the few children she had there. A great night in a lovely modern room. Would recommend this camp to anyone for long or short breaks, I will be certainly going again, my family love it children and grandchildren
