5 star ratingVery accommodating. I stayed for one night for a wedding i was attending in Mold. The wedding started at 3pm and I needed to access my room early as i had a 4 hour drive to get here so i had to get ready in my room before going to the wedding. I had tried a few other hotels before this one and none of them would let me have the room at 12.30 but when i rang Lyons Woodlands they readily agreed, it was no bother at all. The rooms were lovely, with toiletries provided and tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits provided in the rooms, there was also an iron and trouser press. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. We enjoyed a nice full cooked breakfast in the morning with plenty of coffee. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in the area. Thank you for being so accommodating. More

1 star ratingRip off We booked a caravan for ourselves & 3 grandchildren through the site. Two days before our booking we received a call to ask if we wanted to upgrade to a 'brand new caravan that nobody else had ever stayed in'. We paid an extra £70 and were looking forward to this. On arrival at site we were given the key and again told that it was a 'brand new caravan' we found it and my granddaughter excitedly opened the door to be greeted by someone else's personal items. I went back to reception and was told I had probably gone to the wrong caravan but how could I have opened the door? is it 1 key fits all? Anyway it turns out that the occupants of that caravan had moved into the wrong one but again they must have had the 'one key that fits all' so bear this in mind if you are booking direct with the site. Anyway we were given the key to another caravan which we were assured was also a brand new one. We got into the other caravan and it looked ok but after travelling all morning we just wanted to drop our luggage and go out for something to eat. The next day as I prepared to make breakfast it was then that I realised that there were a few things telling me that we weren't the 1st occupants of this caravan. No... No grill pan, frying pan was burnt and some off the plastic utensils had melted slightly. Also the ignition for the oven wasn't working. I went to reception and was told that someone would replace the grill pan and the ignition was probably because someone had unplugged it or switched it off, I pointed out that the ignition was working on the grill & hob but was still told to switch it off & on then it would work, no comment on the burnt frying pan & utensils. No coat hangers in any bedroom but we were told they don't provide these!!! I have never been anywhere that doesn't provide coat hangers.
We went out for the day and returned to the tiniest grill pan you could imagine (2 slices of bacon would have filled it) probably a camping one and we were told as it was too small for the grill we would need to balance it on a roasting tin to use it!!!!
We switched off & on the ignition and then it was completely dead!!!! Another trip to reception and we were just given a lighter to use.
The site itself was ok pool was nice but as per other reviews family entertainment lounge was tired and in need of an update. Beware you will be searched on your way into this room I even witnessed the staff checking under babies blankets & checking their bottles, a bit extreme I thought.
On returning home I sent and email to complain about being 'miss sold an upgrade' and I was told that as I didn't complain while we were there all they could offer me was a 10% discount for a holiday next year, as if I will return there!!!
I pointed out the number of times I went to reception with complaints but no joy. I also asked what they would have done if I had complained would they have moved us to another caravan? but we had 3 children with us 1 off whom is disabled so moving to another caravan wouldn't have been ideal. I pointed out to them that as good customer relations I thought as a minimum we should have been offered a refund on our upgrade but no joy. Anyway it was never about the money I just feel completely ripped off. I also pointed out that I will never visit their site again and I will let as many people know about our experience as possible, but they weren't interested.

1 star ratingAvoid mr n Mrs smith We stayed at 44 hawthorn crescent booked privately from a Lorraine n Rodger Smith AVOID these people they rob you of your holiday and come and kick you out making out that you haven’t declared the amount of ppl staying in the van. ( even though the van fits 8 ppl in ) and you have 8 ppl in it. ( i was never asked who was staying) my children’s holiday was ruined. All because it was a bank holiday weekend and they decided to book it out again to make more money and cut our holiday short DISGUSTING!!!

What are the site fees?

We often have promotions and offers on site fees, please contact the park directly to find out the latest offers.

How much does it cost to own a holiday home here?

Static caravan holiday homes start at £14,995. The ongoing costs are site fees and utilities (gas & electric). Unlike many parks, we do not charge water rates. The only additional cost is holiday home insurance and safety certificate testing, which is required by law.

Can I view a map of the park?

What days can I start my holiday on?

3 night arrivals are on Friday (departing Monday), 4 night arrivals are on Monday (departing Friday) and 7 day arrivals are on Saturday (departing Saturday).

Do your parks offer wifi?

Yes, we offer wifi free of charge in all areas, and an ‘access pass’ can be purchased to access wifi within your holiday home.

Can I bring my pet?

We do offer pet friendly accommodation, subject to availability. Please call us directly to confirm live availability. Please note that dogs on the dangerous dogs list within the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are not permitted on any of our parks.

How and when can I pay for my holiday?

When booking your holiday, you can either pay a £40.00 deposit (with the balance due no later than 3 weeks prior to arrival) or pay for your holiday in full.

Do you accept all male/female groups?

No, as a family park we do not accept single-sex bookings for groups.

When will I receive my booking confirmation?

Your printed booking confirmation will be sent within 2 days of making your booking. Alternatively, if you have requested an email booking confirmation, this will be sent within 1 day of booking. If you have not received your documents within this time, please contact the park directly.

What’s included in the hire of my holiday home?

Can I cancel my holiday?

All holidays are subject to our standard holiday terms and conditions and our cancellation policy, these can be viewed here.

Standard check in is from 4pm and standard check out is 10am. We do offer an early check in or late check out option, subject to availability. Please check with the park directly.
