1. Darth Vader comes from Rhyl
Actor Spencer Wilding, who plays Darth Vader in rogue one: A Star Wars story lives in Rhyl, he has also played roles in Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and Guardians of the Galaxy.
2. Rhyl is among the cleanest beaches in the UK
Rhyl beach has won Beach awards for it’s water quality and facilities, with it’s long sands and clean waters it is no wonder that the site is so popular with water sports and adventure enthusiasts.
3. Rhyl has one of the best BMX tracks in the UK
Ok so Rhyl is probably not the first place that you think of when you think of Mud and extreme sports. However the BMX track at March tracks was built by the same people who built the Olympic track in California. The track has won multiple awards and is loved by adrenalyn junkies near and far.
4. Rhyl Air show is considered as one of the best air shows in the UK (and it’s free!!)
The Rhyl air show draws thousands of visitors every year with demonstrations from the red arrows, parachute display team as well as being suited to light fast jet and stunt plane displays.

At Lyons we love water slides and splash pools, but did you know the new £15m attraction SC2 water park in Rhyl, attracts over 350,000 visitors per year and has some of the most epic slides that we have ever seen (the Anaconda even scared Leo the Lion !)
