Lyons’ holiday parks that are located across North Wales have a strong focus on the community spirit that visitors and owners will appreciate when they stay. Much of this is achieved through events and activities held at the parks, from recurring weekly or monthly events to special entertainment nights with guest star appearances.
If you are looking at our Wales holiday homes for sale and are considering investing in a static caravan, then read-on and learn more about the numerous events held at our parks – it might further persuade you!
Quiz Nights are held every Thursday evening at Pendyffryn Hall Holiday Park, located between Conwy Valley and Penmaenmawr. You create teams to test your knowledge on trivia questions about various topics – just like any pub quiz – and there might be a chance to win a prize for the winning team! There are also owners quiz nights held at Lido Beach Holiday Park, the next taking place on October 13th.
A variety of charity events are held throughout the year, from coffee mornings in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and Bake Off style cake sales where money raised goes to local charities. Other charity events include bingo and auctions which are open to visitors and owners alike. Get in touch with Lyons to find out which parks the charity events are held at and how you can get involved.
At Lyons, we host exclusive events for the owners of holiday homes, which gives you the chance to meet fellow owners and form friendships with other frequent holidaymakers. Owners-only events include bingo nights, parties, breakfast mornings, golf competitions, quiz nights and even day trips to towns and cities in North Wales and nearby cities in England. Check our events page to find out at what park the owners’ event you are interested in is held.
Music Nights and Weekends
Celebrate different musical genres and eras with music nights and weekends at the parks. DJs and occasional live acts give guests a chance to dance the night away to their favourite music. Themes include the 60s, rock and roll, Brit-pop, 70s disco, rock music and much more. Most weekend music events take place at Eryl Hall Holiday Park.
Annual Scooter Weekend
A popular event held at our Robin Hood park in September, the scooter weekend sees hundreds of people in attendance. There is a £5 charge on the door for the music nights, which include northern soul, soul and Motown music along with other 80s classics. There is also a ride out of the fantastic array of scooters at mid-day on both the Friday and Saturday. In 2018, the Scooter Weekend falls on 14th and 15th September.
Halloween and Christmas
Halloween and Christmas are important times of the year, especially for families staying at Lyons Holiday Parks. Around Halloween, there are several events you won’t want to miss, from costume competitions, parties, discos and buffets at various parks. At Christmas, there will be a chance to meet Santa, markets to buy a unique gift for a loved one, a Christmas fete for kids and a masquerade ball for the adults, along with several fun Christmas parties at our different parks.
