Unmissable Events this Summer

When you come to stay in our static caravans for sale, North Wales will have a long list of events taking place to entertain the whole family throughout the summer. There are music festivals, comedy and much more – take a look below to see what events you should be booking tickets for!

Llangollen Fringe Festival

Thursday 19th to Sunday 29th July, multiple venues

The Llangollen Fringe Festival has a wide-ranging mixture of performances over the ten-day event. Expect all genres of music such as punk, reggae, rock and folk, and there will be poetry, comedy, drama, art and film events too. Main events take place at Llangollen’s town hall, but various venues will be hosting performances, such as the ruins of Castell Dinas Bran, the Vale Crucis Abbey, a steam train and more! Saturday 28th July, Penyllan Farm

See the top tribute acts in the UK at this family-friendly festival taking place on 28th July at Penyllan Farm near Wrexham. There will be tribute acts to Little Mix, Ed Sheeran, Queen and T-Rex. Gates open at 10.30am with the first show at 12pm. There will be a food court, drinks bar, fairground rides and craft stalls. Early bird tickets are £15 for adults, £7 for under 16’s and under 5’s go free!

Jason Manford: Muddle Class

Saturday 28th July, Venue Cymru

Jason Manford is one of Britain’s top comedians, and he is returning to Venue Cymru in Llandudno with his new show, ‘Muddle Class’. The new show has loads of fresh material, covering Jason growing up working class to discovering parts of him has become middle class. You are sure to laugh out loud and enjoy the comedian’s amiable charm and wit.

Llan Bike Fest

Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th August, Royal International Pavilion

Llan Bike Fest has grown into one of the biggest motorcycle festivals in Britain, celebrating every aspect of motorcycling there is. There will be classic trials, stunt displays, and a chance to meet professional motorcycle racer, John McGuinness. The family-friendly event will also have face painting, simulators and fairground rides. The Llan Bike Fest takes place at the Royal International Pavilion in Llangollen.

Rock the Park

Friday 17th to Sunday 19th August, Rock the Park

Cyclone Events present the second year of Rock the Park, a music festival featuring tributes to the biggest rock bands in the world. The festival also provides a platform for local up and coming artists to show off their talent. Friday night will be a club night, and you can find out the tribute acts here.  Fairground rides are also available, and the festival village will have all your food and drink needs. The festival’s location is at Rock the Park on Borras Hall Lane, Holt, Wrexham. Day tickets are available for the Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August, Rhyl Promenade

The Rhyl Air Show 2018 will be extra special, as it celebrates the 10th anniversary of the air show, along with commemorating the RAF at 100. There will be a fly-by from the last World War II plane of its kind, a Bristol Blenheim, along with the spectacular Red Arrow display. The weekend event is free, and other displays include a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight featuring a Spitfire, Dakota and Hurricane, a Red Devils Parachute Display Team and much more.
