Our Wales caravans for sale are in family-friendly holiday parks located near several of North Wales’ top seaside locations that offer boat trips. We have listed the best below, so book a sightseeing boat trip to sea for your next holiday to Wales!
Seacoast Safaris – Anglesey
Seacoast Safaris are based in Beaumaris, Anglesey, on the banks of the Menai Strait which gives them the perfect location to offer exciting boat trips. You can choose from a 90-minute family cruise on a passenger vessel, go for an action-packed RIB ride or travel towards the Menai Bridge to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and wildlife. In 2018, they are also launching Premier Cruises on a brand new vessel the Neptune Explorer! The qualified skippers have loads of knowledge about the Anglesey coastline, and the wildlife found there, so you can be sure to learn a lot on one boat trip! The most popular cruise offered by Seacoast Safaris is the Puffin Island cruise, as it includes highlights of Penmon Lighthouse and Puffin Island, a bird sanctuary that is a nesting site for several species of breeding seabirds and is also a resident colony of grey seals.
Seawake – Anglesey
Explore the beautiful coastline of Anglesey on a powerboat trip! Seawake has fast and slow boats that can cater to six, eight, ten or 12 people in RIBS, that vary in length. There are different trips to choose from which leave from Beaumaris, Menai Bridge or Felinheli, including a trip to Puffin Island to see the wildlife found there. The Blast boat trip is just half an hour, and the exhilarating ride features sharp turns and figures of eight – be sure to hold on! – along with a chance to see the incredible scenery of Anglesey. The Bridges trip takes you on a cruise down the Menai Strait into Port Penrhyn and out past Bangor Pier – the longest in Wales at over 1500 feet! As you follow the Anglesey coastline, you can marvel at the houses and hotels, pass under the impressive Menai Suspension Bridge, navigate the Swellies and then head to Britannia Bridge. The Bridge boat trip takes approximately one hour.
Llandudno Boat Trips – Llandudno
One of the best ways to see Llandudno is from aboard a boat. Setting off from the Promenade on Sea-Jay or Sea-Borne for a half hour or one hour trip to see the Llandudno Pier and Little and Great Orme from a different angle, you are sure to be impressed with the stunning views of Llandudno and further out to Conwy. There are also longer sea fishing trips on the Starfish that leave from Conwy on a charter basis, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while catching something for your dinner! The prices are very reasonable too – just £4 for a half hour trip or £8 for an hour for adults, £2 and £4 for children.
RibRide – Anglesey
RibRide Adventure Boat Tours have been running since 2005, based around the Menai Strait and run Blue Flag sustainable boat tours using equipment that has a reduced environmental impact. Prices start at £24 a head, and there are several trips to choose from, leaving from a variety of locations including the Menai Bridge, Beaumaris, Caernarfon and Holyhead. Tours include the Menai Strait and the Swellies, Puffin Island, Castles and Islands where you can see Caernarfon Castle, pass Abermenai Point and Fort Belan before heading to Llanddwyn Island on a two-hour trip. If you want to make the trip over to Holyhead from our North Wales holiday parks, then you can join a RibRide boat trip to see South Stack Island with its caves, sea cliffs and colonies of seabirds!
