The recent snow to hit the majority of the UK left everyone feeling very excited, with kids building snowmen and everyone snapping pics of the garden turned into a winter wonderland. Our North Wales caravan parks are not far from Snowdonia National Park, which offers up fantastic views of its snowy landscape, great for snapping a pic and posting to Instagram.
We have been browsing the social media app recently, and we are loving the pictures of North Wales covered in snow, so much so, we had to create a post showing our favourites. Take a look below – and feel free to take share yours over social media!
This snowy scene makes us feel very festive, with the steam train passing through Rhyddu. The Ffestiniog railway is a great day out for the family, as it gives you the chance to see a lot of the fantastic scenery in North Wales, in the comfort of a traditional steam train.
This Insta shot, captured at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is stunning! The snow covered trees are breathtaking, and you can just spot a few snowy rooftops in between.
This shot of Snowdonia is fantastic – we would love to be hiking up there ourselves! Snowdonia is beautiful all year round, but our favourite time to visit is in the winter when the sparkling snow blankets the mountains.
There is so much to love about this aerial shot taken at Moel Famau, the highest hill in the Clwydian Range. The different perspective is fun, showing the photographer has a good eye for finding those unique shots!
This shot at Llynnau Mymbyr is gorgeous, using the lake to reflect the mountains beyond. Amazing scenery like this, and much more, is what you can expect on a holiday to North Wales, even when it isn’t covered in snow!
