With Christmas just over a month away, the plans for shopping and thinking about the gifts you would like to give your loved ones has begun. Not to fear if you’re yet come up with a thoughtful and interesting idea, as the North Wales Christmas markets are full of delightful, unique, bespoke and stunning gifts!

A Victorian Christmas at Beaumaris Castle

As one of the ‘iron rings’ of North Wales, the Beaumaris Castle and surrounding landscape provides a stunning backdrop for Christmas celebrations and of course, shopping! Alongside the stalls, there will be a range of festivities at the castle, allowing visitors to experience a traditional Victorian Christmas. The whole family are invited to join in with the fun, and there will be plenty of it! From Victorian games to play, Punch and Judy shows to watch, Christmas carols to sing and of course, a range of food and drink to eat!

25th November, 11 am-4 pm.

Beaumaris Castle.

Adults – £6.50. Senior citizens, students and children under 16 – £4.20. Family ticket – £19.30 (two adults and up to three children).

Benllech Grand Christmas Market

The Benllech Christmas Fayre will have a selection of stalls which will be promoting the skilled local craftspeople, bakers, artists and more. The stalls will be filled with locally produced items, from cakes to the perfect Christmas gift. For the children, there will be a special visit from Father Christmas and at 4.30pm, the day will become even more magical, with the Christmas light switch on.

1st December, 10 am-1 pm.

Bennllech Community and Ex-Servicemen’s Hall.

Betws-y-Coed Christmas Fair

If you or your family are still lacking the Christmas spirit, the Betws-y-Coed is sure to get you all in the mood! As a popular event in the Betws-y-Coed calendar, there is plenty there to keep all the family entertained. Including festive stalls and food and drink. The event is a community fundraiser and money raised on the day will be donated to the local St David’s Hospice.

25th November, 12 pm – 4 pm.

Glan Aber Hotel.

Llandudno Christmas Fayre

The Llandudno Christmas Fayre is in its 14th year, and each year it has got bigger and better than the last. There will be over 150 exhibitors, showcasing some of the best Welsh produce. If you’re yet to do your Christmas shopping, there is no need to panic, as there will be something suitable for even the hardest people to buy for. Not only will there be an array of stalls, there is also a range of live entertainment over the four days and Father Christmas will be setting up a semi-permanent residence in his grotto!

16th November – 19th November.

Llandudno.

Adults – £2.50. Children 16 and under – free.

Christmas Craft and Food Fair

There will be a selection of handcrafted items, tasty homemade Christmas treats and much more. The Craft and Food Fair will also be a great day out for children, with craft workshops taking place throughout the day.

25th November, 3 pm – 7 pm. 26th November 10 am – 3.30 pm.

Glasdir.

Admission – free.
