Lyons Holiday Parks pick up four silver awards at 2017 competition

Lyons Holiday Parks were delighted to receive the prestigious awards at the recent Wales in Bloom awards ceremony near Swansea. Under the direction of Mark Williams, head gardener, Lyons Holiday Parks has undertaken an extensive programme of planting, grounds redevelopment and landscaping across a number of their parks. This hard work paid off on Friday 15 September, when Lyons were awarded a Silver Award for four of their parks; Lyons Robin Hood in Rhyl, Lyons Lido Beach in Prestatyn, Lyons Eryl Hall in St Asaph and Lyons Pendyffryn Hall in Dwygyfylchi, near Conwy. Head gardener Mark Williams is pictured alongside Mayor of Prestatyn & Meliden, Cllr Gerry Frobisher MBE and members of the youngest generation of the Lyons family, Geoff & Joseph Lyons Mound Jnr’s. Lyons have already started work on their plans for the 2018 judging of the Wales in Bloom competition, and are aiming for Gold standard next year!
