Razorlight to perform new material at Wales’s newest festival

Indie stars Razorlight will headline one of North Wales’ newest festivals near our Wales holiday homes for sale in May. Vangollen will take place from May 19th to May 21st at Llangollen’s Royal International Pavilion and is a new three-day music and VW camper van festival that is expected to attract thousands of campervan and music lovers to North Wales. Razorlight will be headlining on Saturday at 9pm, with 80s pop group The Christians and local band, White Noise also on the line-up. There will also be smaller, intimate performances from bands such as Moses, Captain Zed, The Truth and many others. It’s not just fantastic live music at Vangollen, the festival will also host over 100 trade stalls, hot air balloon and motorbike shows, fun-filled children’s activities, as well as a Show and Shine competition that will allow campervan enthusiasts to polish up their pride and joy rides! Razorlight will be mixing their classic anthems such as ‘In The Morning’, ‘Golden Touch’, ‘America’ and ‘Somewhere Else’ with their brand new material from their new album. Razorlight’s drummer David “Skully” Sullivan said: “The new album sounds somewhere in the middle of the first and second Razorlight album, it’s really exciting, high energy with loads of indie rock songs. “It’s been a while since the band released new music so I think people are really eager and excited to hear it. “We are really proud of it, we can’t wait for our fans to hear it. We’ve been writing for a while now but Johnny is really focused and has written a whole load of new songs. “We’re hoping the first single will be released in the summer time but we plan to debut a few of our songs at Vangollen as it’s the first festival of the summer for us. “So it’s likely this will be the first time we ever perform them live which is pretty cool.” This is an event not to be missed when staying at our holiday camps in North Wales this may! Other articles you may also want to read:Is a new village set to be unearthed in Anglesey?  Bear Grylls reveals his favourite place in the UK
