Ed, who has previously worked on Festival No 6, Glass Butter Beach, Cream Fields and Wakestock, said: “This is going to be a much more intimate event with a really cool vibe and lots of things going on. Ever since I first saw Surf Snowdonia, I knew it would sit really well with this kind of event. It will be very relaxed and fun, rather than having the obvious pop acts. It’s such a unique location and we have a number of credible acts who will put on a good performance and make it a great event for everyone. We still have a couple of international acts to announce and a number of DJ’s and local bands.” Taking full advantage of the facilities available at the site, there will be a surf competition, a crash and splash lagoon, skate ramps, surf yoga on SUP boards, fairground rides, sizzling barbecues and a wide variety of food stalls offering up delicious nibbles. For those who want a bit of relaxation amongst the adrenaline fuelled activities will be able to do so in style with the Electric Wave Festival offering glamping pods, hot tubs and a log cabin sauna. Business development manager for Surf Snowdonia, Justin Everley added: “Surf Snowdonia is so much more than an inland surf lagoon – it’s a fantastic venue in a knockout setting, our focus this year has been to develop a programme of accessible, family-friendly events. The festival will feature some really well known UK artists as well as some local bands – North Wales has a really vibrant music and comedy scene, and we felt it was important for us to reflect that.” There have been a few great events held at Surf Snowdonia since it first opened its doors, to see what’s waiting for you, just a short drive from our North Wales holiday parks watch the video of Redbull’s Unleashed event below: Other articles you may also want to read:Hysterical comedy events near our North Wales caravan parksThe UK’s first alpine coaster is heading to Snowdonia National Park
