North Wales has been one of Britain’s most popular tourist destinations for years and offers a plethora of exciting attractions for families looking for an adventure. Home to Wales’ highest mountain Snowdon, the park has been attracting hikers, walkers and adventure seek for many years. A stunning part of the country, it has much to offer from the gorgeous vistas to the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Or do you enjoy exploring history and culture at Caernarfon Castle? The castle has had an eventful history, changing hands between the Welsh and English since it was finished being built. There are many exhibitions and events held there throughout the year and is a great place to head to for a day out with the kids. If you like an alternative attraction, there is the Llechwedd Slate Caverns. You can travel underground, travelling into the mines, or over the ground, journeying high into the quarry.There is a gift shop selling lovely Welsh souvenirs and a slate workshop where you can make your own slate products. People also travel to North Wales for the adventure and adrenaline pumping activities you can do here. There is Zip World, which features the largest zip line in Europe; Surf Snowdonia, an artificial wave lagoon and so much more, from hiking, cycling, mountain biking and a variety ofwater sports. Anyone who likes to take things at a leisurely pace will love Bodnant Garden.
