Christmas market and crafts fair happening this weekend

An international Christmas and crafts fair will be starting today and running through until Sunday providing festive fun close to our North Wales caravan parks. Being held in Bangor, the Traditional European Food and Craft Fair will be awash with food, drink and Christmas gifts from all corners of continental Europe. Bangor’s high street will be transformed into a winter wonderland for the first time in three years after stints in the Isle of Wight and Norway. People visiting the fair will be able to try a delicious sample of native foods such as Italian olives, cheese and nougat, French biscuits, bread and pastries, crepes and many more delicious treats from countries such as Holland, Spain, Poland and Belgium to name a few! Organiser Olivier Simonin, said of the event:“As well as all of these delectable tasty goods, you will also be able to choose from a wide range of products including hand bags, leather items, Marseille soaps, lavender, children’s toys and pashminas, there really will be something for everyone.” Most of the products on sale will come from each stallholder’s region, where they are produced by small organisations such as, family businesses, farms or small factories using traditional methods, maintaining a high standard of quality. All of the traders will also wear their traditional local costumes from 100 years ago, as well as decorating their stall to represent the region of the country they come from. The market will therefore provide you with a true flavour of the continent.”   Other articles you may also find interesting:Warm yourself up this winter with these delicious hot chocolate recipesFun filled activities happening this weekend Photo by: David Dixon
