Christmas is just under six weeks away, and if you are visiting our holiday parks in North Wales over the coming weeks, why not get into the festive spirit with these fantastic Christmas themed events taking place across the region?Llandudno The Christmas Fayre is always a popular event in North Wales in the festive season, and this year you can once again enjoy food, drink and crafts from across Wales and around the world. From November 17 to 20, you can get the chance to pick up some hand-made gifts, see some craft demonstrations, visit Santa’s Grotto and enjoy some live entertainment. Llanfairfechan Light Up Llan this Saturday, November 19, from 2pm to 10pm. Live music, a fun fair, craft stalls, reindeer, refreshments and Santa’s Grotto are part of the event. Don’t miss Santa arrival at 6.20pm, followed by the big light switch on at 6.30pm. Conwy Grab a chance to meet Father Christmas at the medieval Aberconwy House on either December 3 and 4, December 10 and 11 and December 17 to 20. Costs are £7.50 per child. Also, don’t miss the Winterfest at Conwy on December 10 which brings street entertainers, live music, choirs and a torch-lit procession through the town which will include armoured knights and their ladies in period clothing. The event starts at 4pm and goes on until 7pm. Dolgarrog On the weekend December 10-11, the Christmas Market along with a real ale tent, Santa’s grotto, live music and local produce sellers comes to Surf Snowdonia at Dolgarrog. Open from 10am to 8pm, the bar will also be open to 11pm. This is a great chance to pick up any last-minute Christmas gifts. Bodnant Meet Santa’s elves at the Garden Elves workshop, happening each weekend in December, the 3/4, 10/11 and 17/18, as well as Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 of December. The elves will be at the Old Mill, where the kids can help them make crafts and decorations for Christmas. Rhyl From December 1 to 24, Rhyl is hosting a live advent calendar, with something different happening around the town every day. This is a perfect location for anyone staying at our Rhyl caravan park. There is also the Town Hall Christmas Concert on December 14 starting at 7.30pm, featuring the Vale Clwyd singers. Cilcain Have a taste of the Christmas Food Fair on Sunday, December 17 at Cilcain Village Hall from 10am to 4pm. Each stall is one of a kind, and there will be a huge assortment of fantastic food, from hand-made chocolates and fudges, Welsh cheeses, jams, chutneys and conserves. There will also be some crafts available to buy from jewellery, artisan wood crafts, bespoke bags, crochet crafts, handmade soaps and Christmas decorations. Entry is free to the fair.
