For many of us, catching a glimpse of the Coca-Cola truck is a sign that Christmas is truly underway. It has now been revealed that the iconic truck will be making a stop near our holiday parks in North Wales. It will be making a pit stop in Wrexham this year on November 29th to kick off the festive season. You will have the opportunity to wander through an enchanted winter wonderland, before being able to take photographs with the iconic truck. You can also enjoy a free 150ml can of Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, or Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. Then once the sun has gone down, you will be invited to enjoy a Christmas animation that will appear on the truck, making this event perfect for families who want to start the magical countdown to Christmas day. The Christmas truck first graced our televisions screens in 1995, and has become an iconic sign that Christmas is on the way. The images of the Coca-Cola Santa was created by artist Haddon Sundblom, whose images decorate the sides of the trucks. In 1996 Coca-Cola introduced a new Christmas packaging. These ‘Santa Packs’ featured Sundblom’s imagery and were available in the USA, UK, Australia, Hong Kong, South Africa, Singapore and the Philippines. Make sure you head to Wrexham to visit this magical event to get you in the mood for Christmas! Image credit: W_Minshull Available under Creative Commons.
