It’s half-term week and if you are staying at our Rhyl caravan parks, be sure to check out the week long ‘Spooky Spectacular’ events happening at Rhyl SeaQuarium. Until Monday 31 October, SeaQuarium will be a haunted haven, providing tonnes of fun for the whole family. Guests are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes and indulge in trick-or-treat and pumpkin carving alongside the creepiest creatures. There will be Halloween-themed crafts, shows, and demonstration with the SeaQuarium creatures, spooky story-telling, as well as some traditional Halloween games. Aquarist Richard Morrilly said: “Spooky Spectacular is a real treat for all the family, where the young and the not so young can learn about curious sea creatures, creepy critters and have fun at the same time. “Staff will be getting into the spirit of things by dressing up and guests are encouraged to wear the best Halloween costumes too.” There will also be ‘torchlight tours’ that gives visitors the chance to see the SeaQuarium and its inhabitants in the dark, only lit up by torches and pumpkin candles. The tour has two-time slots of 5.15pm to 6.45pm and 7pm to 8.30pm, and has to be booked in advance on 01745 344660. In addition to the spooky events taking place at Rhyl SeaQuarium, there are a number of other half-term and Halloween events taking place across North Wales.
