North Wales is the fourth best region in the world to visit

Leading travel guide Lonely Planet has just revealed that North Wales is the 4th best region in the world to visit, so don’t miss out on this beautiful area by visiting us at one of our north Wales caravan parks. In the list compiled by a panel consisting of Lonely Planet’s distinguished writers and expert’s, north Wales was the only UK destination to be featured on their annual list with Tom Hall, Lonely Planet’s editorial director, saying: “It’s a stunning area with a vast array of activities on offer to keep travellers entertained. We included North Wales in this year’s list of top 10 regions because it deserves to be recognised on the global stage. North Wales is a gem and should be on every traveller’s radar.” North Wales placed higher than areas such as coastal Georgia in America and Aysen in Chile, with the top spot going to the mystical area of Choquequiro in Peru. It was North Wales varying attractions and natural beauty that propelled it into the list with underground trampolines in Blaenau Ffestiniog, Penrhyn Quarry’s zip lines and Surf Snowdonia being hailed as some of the main drawing points with the latter inland surfing lake being described as “the most headline-stealing example of the region’s reinvention”. Lonely Planet’s Top 10 Regions1.
