The Welsh ‘tweeting farmer’ is set to star in U.S. TV travel show

A farmer from Conwy, near our holiday Parks in North Wales has managed to set himself up with a starring role in a travel programme in America, which is set to be aired to no less than 46 million people in the U.S. this week.  Gareth Wyn Jones, or to his following of loyal fans on social media, the ‘tweeting farmer’, will feature in an episode of Travels With Darley when the show is beamed out to TVs in the States tomorrow. The filming took place for this episode when the host of the show, Darley Newman and her TV crew made the trip over to North Wales in November 2015 to film at Gareth’s farm. The farm is located at Tynllwyfan in Llanfairfechan and the show will also incorporate a host of other spots in Wales and the north of England. When discussing the programme, Gareth was quoted as saying: “Darley was a really lovely woman, who has a great zest for life. “When the crew came luckily the weather was superb. “We took them to the top of the mountain, and Darley asked if she could have a minute to herself, I was worried I’d said something wrong. “But she told me afterwards she just wanted to drink in the view and said that it was one of the best she had ever seen, and she’s travelled around the world.”
