If you thought that the summer sun was over, fear not, as the latest predictions show that North Wales could be in for an absolute treat this week! The Met Officials say that the next three days could bring the hottest September in many years for North Wales! The temperatures are set to soar into the mid 20’s this week, with Ruthin, St Asaph, Abersoch and Porthmadog being within the hottest areas of North Wales. The highs are even set to hit 26°C in some areas! “Temperatures are set to get up to the mid-20s in North Wales over the next few days due to warm air coming in from Europe,” commented a spokesperson from the Met Office. “We will see the peak temperatures in the south of the UK in London where it will reach up to 31°C. “In North Wales the hottest day of the week will be Wednesday and the warm temperatures will be widespread and be in the low to mid 20s. “Harlech will be 25°C, Porthmadog will hit 24°C and St Asaph and Ruthin will get to 26°C, while places including Bangor and Holyhead will reach around 21°C,” she added.
