The RAF’s acrobatic squadron are going to be flying over the skies of North Wales today (Monday 25th July) when they make their ‘commute’ back to their base in Lincoln after being in Ireland. You can expect to see the world-famous air acrobatic pilots in their distinctive planes when they jet over the skies shortly after 1700hrs en route to RAF Scampton, which is sure to be a real treat for anyone who enjoys spectacular sights like this! Keep your eyes peeled in the Caernarfon area at 5.16pm, Ruthin at 5.21pm and Wrexham just a few minutes later for a chance to see the team soar overhead. Just over 14 minutes later, they will be expected back at RAF Scampton near Lincoln at 5.39pm, which is some 140 miles by car, and would take 2 hours and 44 mins to drive from Wrexham! If you’re a fan of the Red Arrows and want to see more, you can watch them near our North Wales caravan parks when they perform on August 28, taking to the skies for the Rhyl Air Show.
