Good news for pub food menus thanks to popularity of UK staycations

A fresh research study has revealed that increased numbers of people in the UK will be opting for staycations and choosing to eat out this year. In the region of 87% of people who stated they are going to enjoy a ‘staycation’ this year confirmed they are have dining out as one their ‘things to do’ while they are away, and as a result it has been confirmed as the most popular activity on their schedule. The results, which were published in the June edition of the Greene King leisure tracker, also stated that almost 70% (69%) of UK staycationers were had plans to make the most of their time away by enjoying a drink. The good news about this is that if you are thinking about Wales holiday parks as a staycation option then you’ll have plenty of option for eating and drinking out, both in our parks and in the surrounding areas. “This month’s Greene King Leisure Spend Tracker suggests that many households are looking forward to enjoying some well-earned holidays”, said Rob Rees, Greene King group marketing director. Are you looking forward to a staycation this summer?
