Pubs across North Wales open for longer this weekend

Pubs across the region can enjoy extended opening times this weekend, as part of the celebrations for the Queen’s 90th birthday. Glasses being clinked together as a toast near our Wales holiday parksWhat’s more, these longer hours will also coincide with the start of the European Championships in France. This means that pubs who usually call Last Orders at around 11pm can continue serving until 1am on Friday and Saturday. Football fans enjoying Wales’ first game against Slovakia will therefore be able to continue their celebrations until the early hours! Some pubs already have this extended licence so will not be able to extend it further, but many in the region will benefit from extended trading hours. With Wales set to compete in their first major tournament since 1958, many locals are understandably excited to see how our nation will fare on the big stage. Of course, the small matter of Russia and England stand in the way of Wales progressing into the knockout stages, but with players like Gareth Bale, Joe Allen and Aaron Ramsey in a close-knit squad, anything is possible! So if you are staying in any of our Wales holiday parks, you will be able to cheer our boys on for longer and celebrate the birthday of Britain’s longest reigning monarch. We’ll drink to that!
