Four brave women will soon be taking on the highest hill in the Clwydian range, sporting nothing but a bikini, and their sensible footwear! The daring foursome, Alex Egan, Olga Greyling, Maja Kennedy and Nicola Kirby are taking on the challenge which is a short distance from our Ruthin caravan site, in order to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Their aim is to raise £2,000, but they are hoping that their efforts will see them exceed the target, which will be going to a fantastic and deserving cause. Come December 19th, no matter the weather, the valiant group will get to stepping as they take on Moel Famau, which is officially stands at 1,818ft high. The bikini-clad trekkers will have a trained support team with them while they are taking on the encounter in order to make sure they are safe, as well as to provide then with some well-deserved warm clothes and warming beverages once they reach the summit. The ladies are asking anyone who would like to come and help to show some support while they’re hiking with some well-received cheering to be at Moel Famau at 10am on Saturday 19th December. Also, if you wish to donate, you can visit the group’s online fundraising page, here. Image: Robin Parker under Creative Commons.
