You may have heard of, or taken part in Fun Run events before, but have you ever heard of a Glow Fun Run? Well you have now, and if you’re staying on caravan holidays, Towyn then you might just be able to be one of the many fundraisers decked out in glowing lights and lighting up Eirias Park in November. In scenes never before seen in North Wales, Eirias Park will be lit up with the florescent glow of participants raising money for the local St Kentigern Hospice. The exciting Glow Fun Run, which is sure to be a sight to behold kicks off at 7.30pm on Saturday, November 14 in Colwyn Bay. Consisting of a 4km run, the event is open to one and all aged 10 and over (under 18s accompanied only). You can enter in for just £15. The registration fee includes a Glow Fun Run t-shirt, glow torch and a selection of other goodies for you to enjoy. Fundraising Manager, Laura Parry, said: “This fun phenomenon has been sweeping the globe and we are very excited at St Kentigern hospice to create our own little neon night in North Wales this November.” This is sure to be a memorable event, so if you’re keen to don the neon attire and take a jog around the 4km course for a good cause then why not get involved through the online registration here?
