It is almost time for Mold Food & Drink Festival 2015!
The Mold Food & Drink Festival is a wonderful showcase of the fantastic local produce on offer from the region that always strikes a chord in the hearts of visitors once they know what’s to be enjoyed here. If you’re on one of our Ruthin caravan holidays then you’re in prime position to enjoy not only a great holiday, but some of the finest quality food and drink from producers around the country, what’s not to love? Taking place over the weekend of the 19th & 20th of September, visitors will be able to get stuck into a festival that is recognised as one of the best in Wales, which is backed up by the 13,000 people who expected to attend over the weekend. 2015 is a special year for the event as it marks the 10th year of the festival, which of course means extra special celebrations! It’s set to be another sensational foodie weekend with a blend of celebrity and local chef demonstrations, interactive cookery workshops, live music, children’s activities and, it should go without saying, but just in case, plenty of sensational food and drink for all! Pay a visit to the cookery theatre and on the Saturday you’ll see Dean Edwards; a regular chef on ITV’s Lorraine. You’ll also be able to see Graham Tinsley; Manager of the Welsh National Culinary Team showing off his culinary excellence. Sunday is the day to see celebrity chef Paul Rankin take centre stage for not one, but three sensational cookery demonstrations! Over the course of the weekend there will be a host of local chefs showcasing their skills and expertise too, which should not be missed! Additionally, this year welcomes the brand new Children’s Cookery School and Food Science Lab, giving the little ones the ideal opportunity to show off their budding MasterChef skills, as well as getting stuck into a whole range of other hands-on fun in the Interactive Zone.
