Settle in for sea views from several corners at Tyddyn Goronwy Holiday Park in Barmouth, in the seaside village of Tal-y-Bont and a couple of minutes walk from the beach.
Pods, pitches and cottages here are flanked by sea and mountain views, and are within easy walking distance of the village, which has restaurants, amusements and shops. Plus, again within walking distance is Talybont station, handy for outings to Barmouth beach or north to the peaks of Snowdonia.
Prices at Tyddyn Goronwy also include a free leisure pass to its sister park Sunnysands Holiday Park, a short drive away or a leisurely walk along the beach front, to use their park facilities, café, fish and chip shop and entertainment – and you might want to stick around for the spectacular beachfront sunsets too.
You will also have access to the facilities at our smaller, Lyons Caerelwan Holiday park across the road as well as the nearby Sunnysands.

The reflection of the mighty mountains of Snowdonia in the shimmering Cardigan Bay has made this place the stuff of dreams. Inspiring even the greatest creative minds such as John Ruskin and William Wordsworth.
The quaint Victorian promenade is the only thing that separates the colossal beach from the imposing mountainous horizon, reminding you that it’s not just word class views, but a rich heritage too.
Plentiful excursions with panoramic views that are easy on the eye, it’s no wonder that Barmouth featured in the Sunday Times’ Best Place to Live Guide 2023. There are also ample activities for the whole family to do in and around the area of Gwynedd such as Zip World, Port Meirion and more.

Frequently asked questions
Electric hook-up is available at all three of our touring parks for £5 extra per night. Please notify our administration team when you call to book if you would like to camp with electric hook up.
Lyons Pendyffryn Hall is nestled in the foothills of Penmaenmawr, within Snowdonia National Park. You can find us here by following the A55 North towards Anglesey, and turn off at Junction 16A. Address: Glan-Yr-Afon Rd, Dwygyfylchi, Penmaenmawr LL34 6UF
Lyons St Mary’s Touring Park lies on the gateway to North Wales’ finest tourist hotspots, Prestatyn. Take the North Wales expressway and follow the A540 road to Gronant.
Lyons Manor House Park in Cumbria can be found by following directions for Aspatria, or by following the A595 from Carlisle.

Lyons Holiday Parks has something for all the family – including your four-legged friends! All of our parks are pet-friendly and we have selected pet-friendly areas on most parks.
Each of our touring parks boasts a reception area, children’s play area (*outdoor gym at Lyons Pendyffryn Hall), and a toilet block with showers.
The North Wales coast is a must-visit for anyone who’s craving the delights of a traditional seaside holiday.
The popular market town of Towyn boasts its very own funfair and horse racing track, and the towns of Prestatyn and Rhyl offer miles of award-winning beaches, plenty of fun activities for the kids, as well as some lovely bars, restaurants and cafes to cater to all the family.
The towns of Ruthin and St Asaph are steeped in history and culture, with plenty to do and see come rain or shine.
Snowdonia National Park is no more than a thirty-minute drive from the area, where you’ll find unbeatable views, walking routes to suit all abilities, and some quaint much-loved Welsh hamlets and villages.
Lyons Manor House Park is situated in the picturesque farming village of Edderside, with stunning views of the Solway Firth to one side and panoramic views of the Northern Fells to the other. There’s plenty to do in the local area, from maritime museums, water sport activities on the nearby lakes, as well as plenty of country pubs, cosy cafes and even upmarket restaurants to feed your soul.
Seasonal touring pitches are available at Lyons St Mary’s Touring Park and Lyons Manor House, and the season runs from March until October.

We currently offer 3-nights stays (Friday-Monday): 4-night stays (Monday-Friday) and 7 or 14 stays (Saturday-Saturday.)
At Lyons Holiday Parks, we’re all about creating the perfect space for you to enjoy family moments, adding little extras to make your stay even more enjoyable and simple!
Every plot across all Lyons parks comes with a minimum of 1 (and often 2) parking spaces, and ample parking can usually be found near the park’s reception area.
WiFi is available at Lyons Pendyffryn Hall clubhouse, where you can browse on your device while enjoying a drink from our fabulous panoramic terrace.
Lyons Manor House also offers WiFi in the bar and reception area, with seating options available inside and out.
