Marketing and Social Media Assistant

Location: Lyons Robin Hood, Rhyl

Salary: Circa £16,000 - £19,000

Job Summary:

The Lyons Group incorporates thirteen stunning holiday parks throughout North Wales as well as two restaurants and luxury hotels and Lyons Caravan Sales, our holiday home sales showground near Gwespyr, North Wales.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person who understands today’s social media. The successful candidate will assist the marketing department with their on-going development of the marketing plan, with particular focus on social presence, tone of voice and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop the company’s web presence
  • Plan and manage our social media platforms, including scheduled posts (Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube)
  • Communicate with target audience via email, SMS and other channels
  • Answering customer enquiries accurately and efficiently
  • Dealing with all online reviews in a constructive and consistent manner
  • Liaise with our website providers
  • Analyse and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns and competitor activity.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

Essential:

  • Some digital marketing platform experience

Desirable:

  • Social Media Marketing experience (Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube)
  • Leisure industry experience
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and MailChimp

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Excellent communication and team building skills are essential
  • Use of the Microsoft Package including: Word and Excel
  • Well organised
  • Willingness to learn through in-house and external training
  • Proactive and a self-starter
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively
  • Creativity and flair
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

HGV Plant Fitter

Location: Delyn Metals, Holywell

Salary: £11.25 per hour

Job Summary:

Delyn Metals is a leading scrap metal recycling company based near Holywell in North Wales. With over 30 years’ experience in the waste industry, we offer customers an environmentally sound solution for recycling their scrap metal, and what’s more we pay the best prices.

Our newly refurbished scrap metal processing facility is specially equipped to deal with all kinds of non-ferrous and ferrous scrap metal including copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminium, lead and many more.

We are currently recruiting for a HGV/Plant fitter, to be based at our Holywell site.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm.
Pay: £11.25 per hour

Travel: Some travel may be required to other sites.

Main Responsibilities:
• Conduct all vehicle service and inspections
• Carry out all daily and routine maintenance and repairs
• Repair and replace any damaged or worn parts
• Attend any breakdowns when required
• Escalate any issues accordingly
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Carry out any additional tasks when requested by Supervisor

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Thorough knowledge of large goods vehicles\machinery and their repair, maintenance and servicing
• Health & Safety in the workplace
• HGV Licence

Desirable:
• Qualification in Mechanics
• Experience with heavy plant machinery

360 Operator

Location: Delyn Metals, Holywell

Salary: negotiable on experience

Job Summary:

Role:

  • You will be based at one of our sites in Holywell to process material using our onsite shredder and 360 grab.
  • Loading wagons and maintaining our clients skips ready for collection.
  • Daily checks and light maintenance

  • able to work on your own
  • own transport
