Fun filled events near our holiday parks this weekend

                There’s lots of great events happening near our holiday parks in North Wales this weekend from live music to Christmas craft workshops and everything in between! We have rounded up the pick of events and activities that will appeal to people of all tastes, so read below to see some great things happening in North Wales this weekend: Rob Beckett: Mouth of the South at William Aston Hall, WrexhamDecember the 9th sees multi-award winning Rob Beckett perform his debut stand up solo show in Wrexham, best known for his stints on 8 out of 10 Cats and Fresh Meat he tackles subjects such as expectations, family and even Jeremy Beadle! Tickets are £15-16.50 Showaddywaddy at William Aston Hall, WrexhamHugely popular 1970’s pop group Showaddywaddy comes to Wrexham on the December 10th for a fun filled evening of 1950’s American pop covers from the Leicester teddy boys. Suitable for people of all ages, not just the original fans from back in the day. Tickets cost £20-22. NY MET: L’amour de Loin at Galeri CaernarfonOne of the most highly praised operas of recent years, Kaija Saariaho’s medieval romance L’Amour de Loin (“Love From Afar”), has its Met premiere on December 10th. Debuting Finnish conductor Susanna Mälkki leads the performance, which stars Susanna Phillips as Clémence, Eric Owens as Jaufré, and Tamara Mumford as the Pilgrim who carries messages of love between them. Tickets are £13 for adults and £10 for children and students. Conwy Medieval Christmas, Conwy TownStarting at 4pm on December 10th the annual Medieval Christmas Torch Lit Parade event is organised by local business owners of the town of Conwy and is always hugely popular with tourists and locals. The 100 strong flaming torches begin their parade at 5.45pm and walk down Castle Street with the magnificent Conwy Castle as the backdrop. Other attractions at this event include battling knights, birds of prey, street musicians, dancers and live music, a medieval jester, stilt walkers and much more! Christmas wreath workshop at Castell Penrhyn Castle, Llandygai, BangorOn December 11th take part in an exciting an informative work shop where you will learn to make traditional Christmas wreaths that you can hang on your front door! Join the Wild Elements team to make traditional Christmas wreaths from natural materials from around the castle. It also makes for a thoughtful and personal gift. Winters Night Ghost Tour at Bodelwyddan Castle, BodelwyddanDitch the festive cheer for spooky fun on December 10th and join the in-house paranormal team to take part in an investigation to experience Bodelwyddan after dark for yourself. You will be taken on a guided tour of the legendary house before the lights are dimmed and armed with a paranormal tool kit, that includes dowsing rods, EMF meters, motion sensors, glass divination, table tilting and more, you will investigate a number of rooms, including the cellar.
