Could the Special One be moving to North Wales?

New Manchester United and self-proclaimed “Special One” Jose Mourinho is said to be looking for a new home, and has eyed up a rather lovely £3.9 million castle in North Wales.   Castell Gyrn overlooks Ruthin town and is just an hour’s drive from Manchester. Mr Mourinho is said to have viewed the mansion twice, and has been the talk of the town since his visits. Following the dismissal of Louis van Gaal, Mourinho has taken over at Manchester United on a £10 million-a-year contract and is looking to relocate from his current abode in London’s Belgravia. The four-storey castle is located in 43 acres of countryside, and although it looks to be a few centuries old, it was built just 40 years ago. Boasting a library, cinema room and butler’s pantry, the castle has views across the Clwdy valley and Snowdon in the distance. There are also six bedrooms, five bathrooms and a separate lodge and two-bedroom cottage. One local worker has said that they would be excited if Jose did move to North Wales, saying, “If he moved here it would give the area a real lift. It would be great.” So who knows, next time you visit our Ruthin caravan site, you could bump into the Special One!  Photo courtesy of Aleksandr Osipov on Flickr, under Creative Commons
