Three Christmas dog movies for all the family

If you are lucky enough to be staying at one of our family holiday parks, North Wales over the Christmas period, then you will no doubt be looking forward to making the most of having some time to do whatever you want! This could of course include watching any or all of our three Christmas dog movies. A dog in a Christmas hat, staying at our family holiday parks in North Wales. There’s nothing better than relaxing on the sofa after filling up a fully-loaded Xmas dinner, and indulging on a good pet-friendly family movie, especially when they have a Christmas theme! Here are three of our favourites: The Dog Who Saved ChristmasThe Bannister family’s new addition, Zeus, who’s voice-over duties come from Mario Lopez of TV’s Saved by the Bell, the yellow Labrador, appears to be less than the dependable guard dog the family needs. However, when two burglars plot to break into the Bannister’s home while they’re away for the festive period, Zeus seizes the chance to become the hero, proving that indeed every dog – even this fella – has his day. Dean Cain, Gary Valentine, Elisa Donovan, Mindy Sterling, and Adrienne Barbeau also provide their voices to create this heart-warming animated holiday movie. The Search for Santa PawsWhen Santa Claus, played by Richard Riehle, travels to New York City and gets hit by a taxi, he loses his memory and gets the crystal that keeps him eternal stolen, it’s down to his new friend, Paws the puppy, played by Zachary Gordon, to save the day. Meanwhile, a young orphan named Quinn arrives at a foster home run by a strict and no-nonsense woman named Ms. Stout who does not approve of anything that children love: toys, Christmas decorations, singing, enjoying themselves, and not even pets. She uses her furnace to burn all the toys she confiscates from the girls- mean! In order to save Christmas, Eli and Eddy the uncanny elf dog have to go to New York City to save Santa and Paws. But when Santa (Bud) is in the hospital, it takes the help of Quinn, and friend, Will to save Santa. Kate and James take Bud from the hospital, Paws tells Eli to put his crystal next to Santa, but then he wakes up to find that Paws is a stuffed animal. They quickly rush back to the North Pole and Paws turns into a full-grown dog named Santa Paws and Christmas is back on. An All Dogs Christmas CarolAn All Dogs Christmas Carol is the only animated film we have included in our list and we think it definitely deserves its place in the top 3. In this animated adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic book, Christmas is coming, and pooch pals Itchy, Charlie Barkin and Sasha decide to raise enough cash for injured pup Timmy to get a much-needed operation. Unfortunately, mean-spirited canines Carface and Killer rob the kind-hearted dogs before they can give Timmy his present, prompting Charlie and the gang to concoct a ghostly plan to retrieve their money.
